Hi people! i’m Andantina, who takes life at a walking pace. you can call me Danti. i'm on the young side and from the eastern US. my favorite vocal synths are Kazehiki, Luka and Eleanor Forte.
i'm someone who's liked vocaloid for a long time, ever since i started using the internet really. seeing the scene pulse and shift over the years has been interesting and i can't wait to see where it goes next. i think the vocaloid subculture is really special because it opens up new ways for the music to communicate with the listener--through the storylines of PVs, distinct choices in vocal tuning, character headcanons, the producer's inherent separation from the vocals or even through online trends. It is also a crossover of mainstream independent music with doujin creator groups. Essentially, a match made in heaven. But all this is to say that vocaloid is an ecosystem that teems with the impulsivity of restless souls online. It is never not interesting, which is why i love it!
Besides vocaloid, i also listen to other music genres at a regular basis. I enjoy too many to name but some of my favorites of my favorites are film/video game OST, folk rock, EDM, hyperpop, and eurobeat (yes, unironically). Finding new artists, and the backstories behind their songs, is incredibly rewarding. Other hobbies I have are drawing, reading, and watching shows from time to time. I also make my own music under a different name.
