    It's been weird to have no new merch coming in for the past 3 or 4 weeks (there's been no new releases really), but next week I should get 3 packages if I'm lucky. This is assuming my dear enemy, the Finnish Post, doesn't prat around too much and can actually bother delivering them. All three packages arrived in Finland early-mid week, but according to tracking, haven't moved from the airport even though I handled the customs procedures on the same day they arrived.

    Finally it's weekend and I recover from work. Good thing I'm starting to get used to the early wake ups and reduced sleep, so I'm not so tired in the early evenings.

    Sometimes it pays off to observe machines on toreba before spending your soon expiring play tickets. This machine had so strong claws that I managed to win 2 plushies with 2 plays (machine went under maintenance after this, probably for weakening claw strength)

    Things are looking promising for concerts later in the year

    I really want to participate to the newest figure design contest, but the theme "Splash Parade" seems rather vague. I guess I'm not the only one though, entries on Piapro have been coming in very slowly so far compared to previous contests.

    I've had a couple of duplicate prize figures I meant to put for sale back in January. Today I stumbled on them as I was rearranging my storage space... maybe I'll get around selling them eventually, though they're not worth much and the market in Finland isn't too big

    Wow, that is cool! What I think is really neat is the way she's pulling the vertical bits apart. To get an effect like that, the overlay must have illustrated vertical pieces, and then adequately cover up the real vertical pieces that were already there. So the overlay is probably actually a good bit bigger than just Miku herself--it probably covers most of the side of the building. (Which probably makes it easier to apply, honestly--I guess you can just hang it from the corners of the roof and secure it with stakes and ropes or something at the corners at ground level.)

    It seems to still be translucent, though, judging by the top. It's a pretty cool piece of work!
