To be honest, I'm a little unimpressed with the CeVIO Pro editor, but I'm not going to be too mean about it because it's still in it's Alpha version
(also it's free now and will remain free, even when the full version comes out). Not that I've come across bugs or I think it's terrible, but the improvements thus far are minimal when compared to CeVIO AI. I'm not sure it justifies making a new editor.
(In my opinion.)
CeVIO's engine noise doesn't bother me, so I don't see a need for a new vocoder. I don't use Mac, so I don't need Mac compatibility. I believe those were the reasons that they chose to make it a new editor, and both of which I don't care about or want.
So... maybe I'm just not the target audience, despite being someone who enjoys CeVIO Creative Studio and CeVIO AI.
I walked away from the CeVIO Pro experience wishing they just added the huskiness parameter, (slightly) improved automatic AI tuning, and the semi-English compatibility as an update for CeVIO AI instead of going out of their way to make a whole new editor.
Chis-A is a great voicebank though, I have no complaints about her.
