    I want to buy Shian and Cangqiong because of the upcoming AI update being free for people who own the standard versions, but even on ANiCUTE they're about $306 CAD to get just the two of them. :rikka_lili: :koharurikka_lili:

    Not saying they're not worth the price (vocals are high quality and of course the free AI when it's ready), it's just that my wallet is empty and the exchange rate for CAD is strongly disadvantageous.

    There's been so much stuff announced for vocal synths this month. The Synthesizer V Cross-Language Synthesis update, Medium 5 AI update, Hatsune Miku NT update, Kagamine Rin/Len Kiite Cafe collab event, Miku EXPO Rewind, Eleanor AI and ANRI AI were released, Solaria's latest demo, there's probably more.

    You know that meme where there's a girl with a whole bunch of people offering many plates of pancakes, and she's trying to eat them all but it's just so much? Yeah.

    I'm definitely not complaining, I think it's great that so much is happening! It's a little overwhelming at the same time.

    It's so intensely overwhelming that I'm just straight-up stepping back for a while (or at least trying to). I'm too autistic to process all of this. I didn't realize until joining this fandom that I could go into hardcore sensory overload just from reading text on a computer screen. :clara_ani_lili: It's amazing what all's happening though!

    That's completely understandable! I'm autistic too and vocal syths are one of my main special interests, but there's just so much happening and it's hard to process. As good as it is, it's also definitely stressful. It's always good to take a break when you need it. The fandom and the synths will be here when you're ready to come back.:seeu_lili:

    Now that you mention it, it's odd that all of these other vocal synth companies are making announcements, concerts, and progressing with updates, and Yamaha Vocaloid is just in the corner like 🧍, with their only thing relating to it recently (as far as I know) is Charlie, which was announced much earlier in the year. Even CeVIO has AI capabilities. If Yamaha doesn't do something to keep Vocaloid relevant, it will fall even further behind.

    I can't afford to do both, so I must make a choice.

    I'm glad I bought the ANRI AI + Synthesizer V Studio Professional bundle yesterday while I still could. I checked the ANiCUTE shop this morning and that bundle is no longer available.
