  • Tbh I'm not a big fan of how most people use Flower in the western fandom. I get that she has unique voice and maybe you can't find replacement so engrish it is ( been there ) but 80% of the time people go out of their way to use her outside of her suitable genre even tho she isn't versatile at all and like??....you could have just used engloid suitable for the genre?? I can't police people on how they should or shouldn't use their voicebanks but this rather popular choice baffles me nonetheless.

@uncreepy I agree! Even if we might not agree on everything I was still glad to hear things from your point of view! Thank you.

And to a degree it is true that what vocaloid is or isn't suitable is a subjective opinion but there comes a point where you want a male vocal to sing opera and you can't pretend that using Flower instead of Tonio is a good idea.
.....What about Rock Opera....? Sorry couldn't resist and it's what popped into mind

Ahaha I see your point, I was talking about more traditional opera and my point still stands there and for rock opera...well even if Flower has enough power in her voice for the genre I think her range might hold her back? But it could work out too I dunno, obviously the closer the song is to the rock genre the better Flower will preform.
I wish Yanhe had japanese vb, her voice is so lovely! I'm already learning japanese because I don't want there to be a language barrier when using my japanese vbs and learning chinese seems too much for me even though it IS a beautiful language. Well it might not be impossible bc I've heard her voice provider knows japanese but I suppose there isn't high demand for japanese Yanhe.
I don't think this warrants a post I just have this question. @ people who use V5 what parameters/styles/etc. do you use to make Ken have stronger voice?
