DV would benefit from the brightness parameter ngl

it had one, more specifically a power parameter (it's similar to synthV's tension but not that advanced)

interesting, so was it removed down the line? why would they do that? id like to compare it betwee V5s exciter and SynthVs tension parameter.

it wasnt removed, rather it was lost due to boxstar's hdd failing
you can try the parameter by either downloading rila's sharpkey or akane's sharpkey (i forgot which one)

Miku NT sounds more high pitched and I'm wondering if they pitched her samples up and ported them into NT or if it's kinda like Macne Nana in garageband type of situation where the software pitches the voice up. I'm curious.
Probably the funniest thing to happen in the UTAU community during my stay so far was when Keine Ron got soft vb for his 10th anniversay, people got excited and used it for a day or two and then again forgot about Ron's existence dfgbhjkffgh

oh yeah... that was a thing!!! i just remember not really liking the sound of his new vb so i didn't even try it out :s guess it was easily forgettable lmao

These are the trials I'm looking to use in the near future and I'm looking for cover ideas :ia_ani_lili: :
    1. Miku jp V4
    2. Mayu ( she seems to be a good quality vb but from the usages I've heard she appears to have the tendency to speak-sing and to be little flat when not utilized correctly and since making vbs emote and sound expressive is my biggest goal when tuning I think she'd be a fun challenge!! )

Ooh! A couple of excellent choices, I see! When you end up getting their trials, feel free to hit me up if you need any tips or advice on using them at all. I wouldn’t mind a single bit!

And, I don’t have any song suggestions off the top of my head, sorry! But maybe someone else might know some good songs!

    Good luck!! :mirai_ani_lili:

Thank you Kazumi I appreciate it a lot :ia_ani_lili:
Miku NT's voice....is something you either love to death and can't get enough of or hate with burning passion and can't stand no matter how good the tuning is and there's no inbetween. Could be said for any vb but Miku NT ESPECIALLY dfghjkghj controversial gal.

Personally I'm in the camp of "wow didn't know Alvin and the chipmunks got a new band member"

I think she has major potential. I will admit that I'm not super impressed with the quality right now (I will cut them some slack since Miku isn't finished), but I feel like the final product will be nothing to gawk at!

I'm definitely more excited at the prospect of Rin's V2 being reworked, however. excluding her glaring faults, her timbre is amongst my favs in V2.

This isn't criticism as I am not upset with Miku NT having distinct sound in on itself, it's to be expected when rendered through different engine too but I have to strongly disagree with the comapriosn to her V2 bank. They sound NOTHING alike to me, I'd go as far as to say this is the furthest Miku's ever been from soundig like her "original" self...which isn't a bad thing, just stating.
