To give me a break from writing and Vocaloiding, I redownloaded the True Love mod for MFoMT. It'll be a few months before the remake hits NA, but until then, I can always play through the (modded) original again!
Rick's only my third-favorite bachelor/ette from these games, but with the excitement of the remake coming up, I've loved him even more lately.
Prima's just as big a pain to work with as Tonio. I will never complain about Oliver again. I mean, I will, make no mistake, but this just sucks.
She sounds lovely at least, so I can't be too frustrated with her.
Marvelous faithfully recreating Rick's infamous shocked/angry face and managing to actually make it look good is honestly one of my favorite things about the remake. My boy got a GLOWUP!
If I order something from Tenso, can I only use the tracking number they provide up to the point the package arrives in the US? It got to LA four days ago and I haven't gotten an update since.
Marvelous has done my boy so much justice in this remake and I am eternally grateful to them.
I got another opportunity to leave a review for Zero-G and get a 15% off coupon! That said, you can't double them up, and the only other product I'd really want from them is Sonika...

This resonates with me on a deeply personal level.
On another note, I'm freakin' PUMPED for the Mineral Town remake! I've been watching playthroughs of the fanmade English translation (for some reason, the translation clips off the last one-five words of every line, meaning you can get a feel for what's going on but still not know exactly what was said...).
They actually brought back the gay marriage system from DS Cute's Japanese release and removed the ambiguity. I'm so happy! And now that localization is being handled by the significantly-less-conservative XSEED rather than Natsume, there's a good chance it'll find its way into the NA release as well! (They didn't censor Marian being gay in SoS, too, which gives me extra hope.) I'm finally gonna fulfill my dream of marrying Rick while playing as Pete without having to use the True Love mod of the original game!

So whenever my son (who is a 7-year-old, 13-pound tuxedo cat) sits or lays down, he always sticks his back leg out as far as he can. Maybe it's a way of balancing himself, as he's rather dense in the midsection (not fat, dense). Whatever the reason, every time he decides to recline, BOOM. Leggie.
He also likes to sleep on his back, with his front paws curled into his chest and his back legs sticking straight out.
I just... I felt I needed to share that.
I'm thinking about picking up a Nintendo Switch Lite - it's $100 cheaper than the original Switch, and I never really intended to use it as anything other than a handheld, so the lack of docking feature doesn't bother me. I have a Best Buy credit card that I used to pay for my laptop at the beginning of the year and build up my credit score, so I can buy one from there with my card; the payment is around $35 a month, and, while I doubt they'll put it on sale for Black Friday with it being so new, I'll still hold out, just in case.
Should I get it in Hatsune Blue or Kagamine Yellow? That's my only undecided question.
I'm thinking about starting a Journal thread here detailing my fics as I work on them. No one I know personally particularly cares/wants to hear about them, so I think I'd benefit from having a place to talk about them. A virtual Programmer's Duck, if you will. I'd also have somewhere to really keep my WIPs in order, because I keep jumping around and losing track of which ones I'm trying to complete in which order.
Y'all ever get an idea for a cover, thinking "Meh, it'll at least be fun to try," then you play back the first section you've got done and think "...my God, I'm about to devote the rest of my free time to this, aren't I?"

Aww, some of my older drawings came up on Facebook Memories. I actually really enjoy drawing, mediocre though I am. (I actually drew my avatar, and it's one of the few things I've ever made that I don't hate.) I'm trying to get my tablet up and running again so I can practice digital art again, but it's a slow process...

Zero-G, never stop amazing me.
I got an email requesting I leave a review for Zero-G, promising a coupon if I did. I left a review, got my coupon (15% off), and tested it on Sonika (the only ZG Vocaloid I don't have) - it knocks her price down $9, from $60 to $51. The coupon expires in two and a half months, soooooo if ZG has another site-wide sale, and I can still apply that code...
