My eyes are mostly back to normal now, so I have some good news:
- I don't have eye cancer. That's... not even why I went to have an eye exam, and I didn't even consider it a possibility, but y'know? I'm glad I don't have eye cancer.
- In about two weeks, I'm getting a shiny new pair of glasses! I decided to splurge and get fancy lenses that are scratch-, glare-, and blue light-resistant, and the frames are unconventional but lovely, and wider than my current pair so I don't keep having to adjust them when I need to use the bifocals, like my current ones.
Now to resist the urge to buy that Kiyoteru glasses case. At least until my next paycheck.
I've been on a strong Kiyo kick lately.
We got unusually slow tonight, but I still had to look like I was doing SOMETHING important, because two of my managers were hanging out around Print while printing out next week's ad. So I created these Very Important Business Cards.
I made three sheets of them.
I'm trying to make them balance out against each other. So far it's... a process, but it's helping me learn a lot about them and how they differ and play off of each other!
Now to make them sound, y'know, good.
The massive overuse of Saki AI after she came out and my dissection of the reasons I just wasn't a fan has, I believe, led me to a deeper appreciation of her Standard. I listened to my cover of Sorrowful Blue again and was a lot more happy with it than I remember being, and I've even got a WIP I'm casually working on with her that I genuinely enjoy.
Being a writer of Spicy Content means your designated FBI agent gets to see a lot of very interesting images and videos. For me, it's nothing more than research and visual references, but I do hope they enjoy it nonetheless.
Goal: finish and publish this fic by the end of the month. I’m aaaaaaalmost done with the R-18 portion of it, and with a bit of buckling down can finish that in a week or two max! Then I just need to connect the beginning to it then finish the ending, and it’ll be good to go! Wish me luck!
I've written three pages in the past three days, and my goal is to write another one tonight, or at least a few more paragraphs. This is the most I've written in MONTHS. I'm so happy!!

Y'know? I've always wanted to get one of those corny, overly-specific Facebook ad shirts, and I think I've finally found the answer to my prayers!
Now which one would be best? The first one fits the bill better, but the second has that certain je ne sais quoi.
I think I've figured out why my V4s suddenly disappear when I install new VBs.
I just finished installing a new V5 (announcement to come later!), and low and behold, it did the SAME THING for my V4s in V5 itself. The issue, I think, is that all of my installers are on an external hard drive: maybe V4s have a different way they store information? Maybe when I install another VB when that hard drive isn't plugged in, it scans but can't find the info, so it just... un-installs? Last night, going to install Kiyoteru, I transferred his files to the external hard drive and then installed him from there; V5 and Piapro both handled the new installations just fine.
I dunno. I'd like to think that's it. It's driving me up the wall. And this isn't an issue I've always had; it only started happening around the time I started storing my installers on a separate drive...
Well, that Songman cover of Chateau Cepage was meant to just test his low-low range, but honestly, I think I'm gonna turn it into a full-fledged cover. He sounds good and I think I can make it sound even better!
Oh boy oh boy we better make sure to keep our most important ingredient in our recipe secret!

I've written two whole paragraphs and made two major edits to a chapter in TBBC that I historically was never completely satisfied with! I haven't written this much in months (the new fic I posted tonight I actually wrote last March or so), so I'm quite happy.
Welp. I, uh. I'm rewriting my most successful Vocaloid fic, and taking it in a somewhat different direction. I only have the prologue up now, but please support it if you'd like!

Well, after a brief stop in China, Kiyo is now in Cincinnati! I will always be left wondering what the point of sending a package away from the US before sending it there was, but hey, he's still on his way, so who am I to question it? - I don't have eye cancer.
