    After months of obsessing over beating RF4, I finally gave into burnout and picked up SoS:FoMT again.

    Maybe it’s just because today was stressful, but I’ve already cried three times: once when Rick told my character he loves him, once when my cow mooed when I brushed it, and again when I heard the Town Theme.

    I, uh, probably need to emotionally detach myself from this game...

    i know this a late response but i feel you, this is how i feel with Pokémon Ruby and with some of the games that were on me and my brother's shared Kindle when we were little, i have such strong emotions attached that it scares myself

    Nnnnnnn... I’m about to reach 100% completion on Rune Factory 4 Special, so now I wanna revisit the very first game and see if I can actually make a dent in it. When it first came out, my one and only interest was farming and wooing cute girls. I never even came CLOSE to clearing the very first dungeon.

    I’ve gotta admit, though, I’m surprised I can’t find it cheaper... since it’s so old and was remade into the significantly better Frontier, I figured I could find a cheapo copy easy. But I haven’t even found a naked cartridge for under $20.

    @Kazumimi thank you!!! And I was thinking Len too, but the issue would be in the final chorus; his English is far too soft to carry it. Maybe I could Engrish his Power?

    Whoever makes the playlist we use at work has been on a Late 2000s Pop kick. I don’t mind it; it’s nostalgic, and there’s some legit bops. But one major gripe I have: they’ve failed to include anything from what was, without a doubt, the best pop album of the Late 2000s.

    My other major gripe is the inclusion of so much Taylor Swift. I swear, the most mediocre of Fearless’ tracks play at least three times a day.

    Love Story can stay, I don’t mind it. But in place of You Belong With Me, I would request White Horse, Fearless, pure silence, or three and a half minutes of water buffalo mating noises.

    Retail hack: when a customer is angry over an inconvenience that’s their own fault or out of our control, I assure them I’ll bring it up with management.

    What they think it means: I take the issue as seriously as they do and I’m going to do everything in my power to ensure they’re not inconvenienced in the future. Happy customer.

    What it actually means: during down time, I relay the exchange to one of my managers. We laugh at how entitled they are and how sad their lives must be if they have nothing better to do than yell at twenty-somethings just doing their job.

    As awful as Columbus Day is, I do hope Big Fish Audio observes it again, because Vocaloids 20% off, even the Cryptonloids? Hoo boy. We all need that kinda light and positivity in our lives right now.

    Granted, the only two they sell that I don’t own are Dex and Daina, who I don’t ever intend to touch with a ten-and-a-half foot pole again, but like... Vocaloid sales! They’re so exciting! :ia_ani_lili:

    I tried re-arranging everyone to accommodate for my lack of bookshelf space. I’m not a fan, but it looks a little more cohesive, all things considered.

    wasn't mercari, but gosh did i get lucky! i found them on a used site where they were the only vocaloids listed! miku v3 english is the e capsule distribution, so it's not surprising that she was with them, but avanna? that was kind of unexpected lmao! most likely a one time thing of a collector getting rid of some loids. (kinda like how a vocaloid will pop up on mercari US once in a blue moon)

    i've become very good at internet sleuthing from being a collector and customizer of discontinued japanese doll lines. wanting specific head sculpts for certain dolls and all. it's definitely a skill I've procured over the years.

    I have gotten lucky on mercari jp though! my debut sonika came from there for example!

    Damn it all, I am DETERMINED to be a fountain of positivity. Things could be way worse, and the longer I sit here lamenting, the more people I’m going to drag down with me.

    It just... it hasn’t been easy lately. The smallest thing can send me spiraling. I hate feeling like this, and fighting against it is hard. But I’ve gotta.

    Given how long it’ll be before I can get a new laptop, I’m gonna bite the bullet and get mine fixed, at least to the point where I can use it. I already deactivated my VBs, and I don’t wanna waste another activation, so I’ll stick to Utau in the meantime is my plan. At the very least, it’ll give me more to do.

    On the bright side! I got prescribed to a new medication to take alongside my current one, which I’m starting tomorrow, and I’ll be seeing a psychiatrist hopefully soon. One of my managers also spoke on my behalf to the head manager and, hopefully, my schedule will calm down some within the next week or two... it had better, anyway.

    Patuk proposed I take the lack of computer and subsequent burnout of all else to try practicing my drawing again, so that’s what I’m doing. Here’s hoping something productive comes of it!

    The plan was for my mother to pay half for my laptop and me to pay the other half. That has been revoked and I now have to pay the whole thing myself. It’ll be a month or so before I can get those funds.

    On this episode of "What is Peaches doing when she should be working?": documenting the process of making boxart replicas! Today's goal was to fix Oliver's proportions and get two copies, one for me and one for a friend. I dunno about y'all, but he's looking handsome to me!

    I printed the Zero-G V2s out as well, but Sonika and Prima were, well... if anyone would be able to provide a high-quality scan or picture of their covers, I'd be deeply appreciative, heh.
