Was ready to buy AI VOICE for the Kotonohas and Yuzuru, but now that they're up for preorder, I'm... having second thoughts orz. Going by their site demos, they don't sound too much different or better than their Voiceroid versions which I already own, but buying them now would be $200 vs if I change my mind and want them later, they'll be over $300.... I think the smart move here would be to save my money for Maki's release later this year, and just hope I don't change my mind and suddenly start desperately wanting AI VOICE orz
Seika's crowdfunding campaign's been live for a couple of days now and there's only 13 backers... it's 16% funded and the goal isn't that high compared to other crowdfund synth projects, but it's kinda worrying. I feel like she barely got any attention too, and with all the new announcements that just happened she's just gonna get buried even more orz
Kyomachi Seika plans on starting a new crowdfunding campaign soon. No details on what it'll be yet, but she gave a hint in that she wants to be on "another tool aside from Voiceroid" so it's a probability that she'll be trying for a singing bank.
Source is at the end of this video (), but if you have time the whole thing is cute as she tries to imitate her Voiceroid's tone.
As expected, there's a popular tweet going around asking AHS/TOKYO6 to reconsider the Rikka CeVIO decision. People aren't upset so much about the idea of moving to CeVIO, but that it isn't what they paid for and were expecting, which I think is entirely reasonable. I think the best method would've been to release Rikka as a VOICEROID first, then used the profits from that to expand her to CeVIO orz.
I think Rikka's release date will be announced on Thursday, along with her boxart and demo. (Could be Voiceroid or Synth V, I feel like it's the former but it could very well be the latter. Maybe both?? ... Probably just one or the other)
