    Honestly I feel like the upgrade price is relatively reasonable (I probably would have found it even moreso if I hadn't upgraded to V5 since V3-V4 owners get the same discount without already having half the bundled banks), but I'm probably a little biased since I like most of the bundled voicebanks and I have the flexibility in my budget to spend a fair bit of money on synths. X'P

    Here I was a little sad I missed the DLsite 15% off coupon but Vector has an even better sale on CeVIO banks that lasts until after payday :teto_lili: Tsudumi it is I guess! (Though maybe I'll buy Yuma on payday anyway... doubt it because Saros preorder is priority one for song banks but we'll see sdjlk)

    In a shining example of my self-control skills, I went ahead and impulse bought Fuiro despite not having enough to buy the editor and kind of needing a new computer :teto_lili: (Going by my experience with the V6 trial, my current laptop can run it, but the problem is that since then my computer's started having this issue where doing literally anything remotely intensive can cause serious overheating.) Dang intro sale being too good *sarcastic fist shake*

    Same I want to get her but considering V6 is pricey and I'm not aware about whether my lappy is powerful enough to run it... (and that I need to finish some stuffs OTL)

    The upgrade price for V6 does include V3-V4 owners though? Or at least it says it does on Yamaha's site. It's 40% off according to my calculations. The only catch to upgrading as far as I know is it doesn't come with Cubase AI if you want that.

    Did you try the trial, Milly? (I did but only got to spend like three minutes with it because what is having the energy to actually use my synths :teto_lili: )

    Based on what it says on the wiki, it seems like they're specifically teaming up with vocal synth producers for the character songs. I thought it was neat so I started reading the story summary and then was mindscrewed by the concept of official Sanrio horror :teto_lili: (It's probably not meant to be that scary but damn those Froggy Eggs)

    @Twillby, @peaches2217: Does it have to work with rendered WAV files, or can you drop it on a Piapro/V5 plug-in track in your DAW to use as an effect in real time?

    Looks like there are some (short) YouTube videos that might be of use.

    I've never tried using a synth in a DAW before so I couldn't say whether it would work for sure or not. I feel like it probably would but I don't have the means to test it since I uninstalled V5. (Computer's kind of on its last legs I think so I uninstalled most of my synths to be safe :kyo_lili: )

    Antares gave me a free license to this plugin of theirs that I've been eyeing for ages as part of signing up for an AutoTune trial and I'm just over here going, "I don't trust this, this is too good to be true, are they going to hit me with a fine if I cancel before the trial turns into a subscription or something" lmaorz

    Thanks for offering Peaches! :akasakiminato_lili: I'm like 99% sure I'm just paranoid because I'm looking at their site now and I'm scouring for loopholes and finding not a hint of one :teto_lili: It's the first offer that comes up on their website, the one about Throat. It's usually over a hundred bucks so that's why I'm struggling to believe it no matter how hard they say "Get it free with trial!" XD

    I feel like I should probably just admit to myself I am not cut out for using non-AI voicebanks but at the same time there are so many voices in that category that I love, so I keep going "hhh are you SURE you can't put in the extra effort for once in your life???" :ring_ani_lili: (The answer so far is "no, me just want hear computer sing words :'D")

    I don't see anything wrong with that, AI singing is very good so far, though they aren't perfect, still better than doing it from 0. It need some tweak n peak here and there, a huge time saving so you can spend your time and effort elsewhere.

    Yeah I don't think there's anything wrong with using AI, it's just that I keep going back to older voicebanks saying, "Surely! Surely I will find a way to cheat the system and make using non-AI take less effort! Or at least I'll find the willpower to push through manual editing!" and of course I only ever manage to frustrate myself X'D
