    I see what you mean! I suppose shes rather unpopular so people didnt/dont take the time to really get to knwo her vb to utilize it correcly and to make her shine like this~

    WOW I ended up writing a whole freaking barely relevant paragraph when all I wanted to say was, “I think it’s like what I’ve seen with Ruby where even experienced users can take several songs’ worth of time to learn how to bring out the potential so really I just try to be grateful there’s content for people to listen to” lmao

    It reminds me of my experience with Ruby in some ways. I adored Ruby’s first production sample but then was (sometimes subtly, sometimes not) unsatisfied with a lot of stuff until “Unbreakable.” Heck I barely liked her official demo at all (though I still think I listened to it on repeat to some degree because OFFICIAL RUBY CONTENT and now it’s stuck in my head rofl). But I stuck with her because I believed in her potential and I liked her as a character (if it weren’t for Ruby I’d probably still be an “I only care about the voice” type honestly lmao) The biggest difference is I didn’t get into forum fights over Sora (oh gods the VO flashbacks... probably why I’m still so sensitive when people criticize Ruby)

    I think the reason it feels mean is because I’m forgetting this cover which I said I loved in the comments X’D But in my defense I think this is because my love for Sora is much more aimed at Natural than Cool in general

    Any time I try to make a cover anymore all I do is obsess over one note for half an hour and then give up for a few weeks. I wish I knew how I managed it years ago

    I swear I never wanna do stuff in Vocaloid normally but then I deactivate everyone and it's like "Ooo I should load that VSQ and- oh wait I forgot I'm worried about my computer crashing with them on it"

    Someone help me pick a new laptop so I can try using my loids again please rofl

    I'd say I can't believe I started rewatching Madoka again but to be fair I rewatched Yuri on Ice so many more times in comparison and I consider both of them an all-time favorite. Plus I did have a song idea that was at least 1/3 inspired by Madoka anyway so it's Research (like I'll be able to try to write anything soon anyway but STILL)

    God, I loved Madoka, but it was so depressing that I can't bring myself to watch it again... though I've watched YoI at least 12 times, probably more, so I get where you're coming from for sure!

    Yep, that definitely helps! Episode ten especially doesn’t get any easier to watch. That’s part of why I like Magia Record, it’s usually/overall more upbeat than the main Madoka series (the writing isn’t as good but fair trade off imo XP).

    Can relate. If it were more financially feasible for me I'd get an external hard drive for them. Looking at them they're not necessarily too expensive but I'm almost 100% dependent on my dad because of my health and I hate asking him for things OTL

    Beginning to think I may never actually buy a Vocaloid from my favorite company because a small but vocal part of me feels like I Have to get the New Years bundle/it's almost a waste to get them individually ahhhhh

    You're talking about AHS, right? They have that 30% off sale going on now if you can't wait for that end of the year sale. I feel like it's hard to weight the emotional cost (lol) of waiting for a sale vs the feeling of "needing" it now. orz Maybe a few dollars lost in savings overall isn't really worth it/that important.

    Yeah, I was looking at the sale earlier. Problem is I just bought a Vocaloid last week and while I’m not technically broke I could only afford a single bank and all my favorites from them are at least two-bank loids, so it’s not a great time X’D I think it’s really just the perfectionist/collector in me that wants the bundle. Heavens know I’m more of a voicebank collector than anything.

    I'm tempted to buy another CeVIO bank because a part of me thinks "Maybe if I throw money at them Pro (仮) will come out five seconds faster" but I also kind of want to wait and see what the upgrade situation will be like when it DOES come out before I buy anything more OTL
