CeVIO Updated IA/IA English/ONE banks coming to Cevio AI

I also thought Yukari Rei just used her vocaloid samples in the mix but she was actually made from scratch with her vp actively trying to sound as close to the vocaloid version as possible.

Cevio AI however IS super weird with it often perfectly replicating sample-based vbs...

Wow that is impressive I wonder if they are trying too hard at trying to get replicate the tone of their old banks. I understand they want to keep that tone but it might be effecting the quality especially when you get that cevio noise

Literally every upcoming CeVio Ai voicebank is getting delayed, so I really wonder what's going on
It seems unlikely that all companies involved with it would screw up their production schedule at the same time
So, this is pure speculation, but maybe something about the engine itself changed, so they all have to adjust their Voicebanks or something?

Oh, really? People by and large are wishing it'd all be on CeVIO? I'm a little surprised. Guess it makes sense since it has speech and singing, but I think SynthV is an impressive, aesthetically-pleasing editor. I'd be really sad if companies jumped ship from it LOL.

ONE's song bank sounds nice I think! Too bad on the delays. Maybe it'll be a good thing, if CeVIO's had a good update?

I have no idea what Techno Speech and Cevio do behind the scenes. Does ALPHA mean it's still the initial song voice? Please tell me they'll improve it like cleaned up that noise enough that it can be differentiated from the Regular Cevio voice.
I'm more worried that TechnoSpeech won't be able to complete their Schedules on time with all these delays. Their waiting list is really full now that Maki and Maki English added and possibly Rosa if she gets funded.
How much staff does Cevio and Techno Speech have for synth V development?

Honestly this seems like pretty standard amount of engine noise for a cevio ai vb, I'm personally expecting her to take on more unique traits as she possibly gets trined on more songs(?)

Their talk vbs appear to be unaffected, everything on the talk editor's been going smoothly and Rosa still isn't set in stone. On similar note, isn't it quite interesting how companies are generally staying away from the song editor and go for talk instead, prolly one of the reasons being that SVS is just more flexible editor but considering how troublesome the development's been for the song editor I'd speculate that isn't the only reason.

And iirc Techno Speech have nothing to do with SynthV development besides cevio vbs happening to share vbs on the synthv editor too.

Honestly I think the hold up is because of training of the ai. I wonder if they are trying to improve the singing because they don't want to retrain the voices. Isn't techno speech really hands on the development so they might be stretched thin and I could see corona messing everything up. Honestly wish they were on synth v but I'm very biased just think the noise is less and they are more expressive with gen 3 ai.

For CeVIO AI, Techno-Speech makes you give them the voice data and they do the voice bank making themselves (that's what they said when I emailed them for someone). So I assume problems with the delays are on their end. Their website has 5 members listed as working for them, but I don't know if they have other helpers who aren't listed.

Ngl I don't hear much of a difference except for more elaborate tuning, it's kinda hard to say how much the engine noise's been reduced in her case for me because imo they sneakily chose part where she's more drowned out by the instrumental that even her og vb gets away with engine noise and we know how much engine noise it truly has. So I don't have much to say in regards to that except for....kinda sneaky vgbhjkl

Also this is just a nitpick and something I wont harp on too hard cuz it could very well be a matter of the mix but she very lowkey sounds like she's singing into a can which is a quality I've noticed in AI cevios gtfrde

That being said, I've always liked her eng vb so I don't really have much of a problem with any of this bnjm but I do feel like only Sasara's notably imrpoved really...

She sounds a lot cleaner which is a big enough improvement for me. I always thought her regular Cevio Eng voice was a much more faithful reproduction of Lia's voice than her Vocaloid banks but the engine noise drowned it out a lot at times. AI did wonders to her voice and I'm excited to hear how her JP song voice will sound

I was never impressed with IA English, so I have few kind things to say about it. But I definitely think she sounds better! There's a sure improvement in engine noise and tone, imo. Very nice. Fans of her bank will be pleased, I hope :)

Her tennis outfit is cute I can hear slight improvements not enough to really win me over but I am happy there is at least some improvement!

To me, the update is almost 100% what I had expected.
Sasara's Cevio AI version also sounded very similar to her older version, but with far less engine noise and a more natural sound
I think if you're in the market for a new voice, it's a much better option than IA English C, and even for people wanting to upgrade... If you already own the CeVio AI editor, I could see it being worth it, even though it's not revolutionary in any way

Wow! She sounds lovely! And I don't hear much engine noise, either. I found the older IA English to be kinda lackluster, but I quite like this version!!
