  • Being a Hololive vtuber sounds really cool. I mean stressful but cool. If I actually had health and my life had been different, I’d audition for a spot.

Vtubing isn't all that physically stressing. Kiara had talked in the past about being able to do her job while dealing with fibromyalgia (mostly in her neck and shoulders) and Ironmouse has spoken about doing her job while mostly being bedridden and that it has been her most consistent work she's been able to do in years due to her condition.

Hololive's medical leave is quite generous I heard. Miko had some health issues so she was out out a few months and she still had her job back after the issues where resolved.

Oh wow. I didn’t know any of this. Thanks for the info. Maybe that might be a good field for me after all.

Also, you can hear Ironnouse talk about her condition here and here.
Someone on YAJ wants $150 for a used copy of RinLen act1. That is a lot of money for a piece of used software. :/
So new computer plan. Download what I need to get utau running through my mobile hotspot, back everything up, reset my computer, and then reinstall utau and hope it works.
This is all because of packet loss.
I wonder if there’s a way around the packet loss here. Maybe I can sacrifice some of my data for downloads?
I just saw a cover with something like “I legitimately own a copy of this software” in the description. I guess that I wouldn’t put it past some people to harass others that they thought were pirating software, but jeez is that sad.
Kiyoteru is a worldly traveler, enjoying things such as: experiencing new cultures and their cuisines, traveling the globe, backpacking across the countryside, and lastly climbing mountains to gain a new perspective on life. Who knows what he will do next.

(Loosly inspired by the adventures of peaches’ copy of Kiyoteru. Half asleep when I wrote this. New headcanon I guess. lol)
There is so much snow. Like a foot and a half (probably) as of 11pm. And it keeps coming down. 0_0
I think I finally got closer to the bottom of why I stopped playing the violin.(ofc I’ve never had great muscle strength and definitely never practiced enough. Although how I was being tought was not particularly interesting)
I looked up the method i was taught for violin in middle school (because I was bored and have been wondering for a while why I can’t read sheet music and I went from loving the violin in 6th grade to hating it in 9th) and it turns out that the program I was in didn’t fully adhere to the Suzuki method and the Suzuki method doesn’t actually teach sheet music reading until later in the program.(I do have some cognitive issues that mane it hard to process sheet music too) After a bit I was getting this feeling like I wasn’t good enough, especially when getting put in groups with six year olds who were on book four when I was 14 and playing four years only on the first bit of book two. It is a relief to know that it wasn’t 100% me(yeah I probably never practiced enough, but after some point it wasn’t challenging enough and became utterly boring) , because this has been weighing on me since 2012 and once we’re settled I’d love to learn another instrument.

You'll be surprised how many musicians, including professional ones, can't actually read sheet music.

True, And I'd add to Blue's message that you even have musicians (especially in gipsy world but not only) who barely have solfege/music theory notions yet are pure virtuoses ; moreover it's mostly about transmission, but in another way than conservatoire type (and there are even musicians and renowed singers who did go to conservatoire but quickly went on their own way as they felt it was smothering their creativity and blocking them) s you'll make it through !
Most of the time I’m okay waiting to use vocaloid until we are somewhere with an okay internet connection, but sometimes I get really sad because I want to use my computer and can’t.
Maybe it comes from working with utau for so long, but cevio ai’s engine noise doesn’t bother me that much. I don’t quite understand why some people find it really bothersome. (This isn’t sarcasm, I literally don’t understand)

And I feel like there are vbs who work with the engine noise ( of its specific engine), maybe in some instances it even flatters their voice...but there are vbs who have the opposite effect. I main utau and even there, albeit not often, I find vbs who are too grating for me cuz the utau engine noise and them just don't go together....but it all can be quite subjective.

I don't usually mind engine noise since it kind of comes with the territory with some vocal synths, but it can bug me if a VB gets ported to another engine. For example, if a Vocaloid like Yukari or IA gets ported to CeVIO, they gain the fuzzy-sounding engine noise CeVIO has, which bothers me sometimes as someone who's used to their Vocaloid banks.

I'm quite ashamed to say it but... While usually I sense it on all synths, CeVIO is the only one where I DON'T hear it at all 😩
First iron infusion today! Gotta sit here for an hour and a half though. :/
I just realized that the case I’ve been putting my earbuds in is 10 years old now. The earbuds it came with died shortly after purchase, but the little fabric case has stood up for so long. The tokidoki graphics are faded from many many trips in the washing machine and dryer, but this little case has gone through and seen so much. I actually can’t believe that it’s held up for so long.
I really want to draw something, but no motivation to move my supplies around on the shelf they were shoved onto. (Plus my mom is doing laundry and I can’t handle the back and forth to the laundry room and managing supplies with no space) :/
