If you decide you like them, I get them at a special discount price until September for buying Maika, and since I bought them before her you’re welcome to the coupon!

If you want the English to Spanish phoneme converter I made message me.
I might try and get Sweet Ann and Big Al before I buy any other vocaloids, since those two are more likely to run out of codes than the V3 and V4 banks i want

How difficult is it to get older voicebanks?
    ___
    ___
@Nokone Miku it is case by case scenario! if youd like i could give u rundown of most vbs that are difficult to get but because V2 is unsupported, even if some V2 voicebanks are being sold like normal theres chance of them running out forever because no new serials can be issued, Piko is example of that.

I am NOT going to spend $40+ on a GLORIFIED FIGURE. I'd love to have the figures, but its the code i need, really.

I mean, i think theres a difference between getting software illegally and copying the code of a discontinued figure from 2016-2017-2018 to a NFC tag so i can use it
after a long week of vacation im ready to get back to working on art and vocal synth stuff sdbhfjka
I saw a tumblr post where it was the "pirate from big corporations, its always morally correct!" meme but Miku read it and people in the comments were saying "PLEASEE do not pirate vocaloids"

yeah, when it comes to piracy and talks of how small the companies for vocaloids are, i feel that sentiment can apply to a lot, and ppl who consider pirating really need to look at the bigger picture. no body would want to pirate some work from a small etsy seller either, and i think its totally right and good to know where that moral extends to- small companies like those in charge of making many vocaloids deserve the support for the work they made. the problem is i think too many people see "oh its a company and not one single name, must big a big corp!" and just assume its Yamaha As A Whole and not like, a second smaller company with 20 employees or something.

its a problem much broader than just vocaloid imo as ive seen it with things like art programs which are popular to pirate- notably (and oddly enough also a japanese software too) Paint Tool Sai which has been pirated to hell and back so much so the first google results are how to pirate it and often not the website itself. its $55usd...and its by one guy. people are shocked when i say its $55 even, like they never looked it up??? shit like that is so frusterating, when the people who want to 'fight capatalism with piracy' dont actually know anything about what theyre....pirating from. as already said, people dont often know that perhaps, behind that big publishing company, is also a small studio thats struggling to make ends meet. as much as i do pirate things, i also make sure im completely aware of where it comes because morally i would feel wrong pirating from said smaller companies like Vocaloid. its not hard to research and come to an opinion yourself instead of.... blinding following the pirate brigade, assuming youre sticking it To The Man for pirating every possible thing you can get your hands on, when there are certainly places where you could pay, to help others.

Yeah you're 100% right and it reminds me how people have huge tendency to see "vocaloid" as this single huge entity, too often I've seen decisions made by the individual companies who have created said vocaloids criticized as "yamaha's doing" aaaand that ain't cool.

I don't support pirating but I do have to say Crypton future media isn't a small company. In 2016, Crypton Future Media were announced as the no. 1 company for sound-related software in Japan, bringing a share of 17.8% of the market. It's one of the reasons why internet co. got into vocaloid in the first place. Granted that was years ago but still they are huge. They have a small number of employees because they mainly forcus on importing software and selling it on their platform sonicwire. Hence why when you buy Crypton vocaloids they come with other software and discounts. I don't want this to be an excuse for pirating just wanted to make sure people know Crypton is bigger than Miku.
What should I do......buy old 20 yr old gaming consoles,,,,or vocaloids?

@Prism specifically the other 3 6th gen consoles (gamecube, dreamcast and ps2). Already got the xbox and need the other 3

Honestly wouldn't get either tbh. For the game cube I would recommend getting a Wii because the game cube only has composite out put and is a hassle to get working on modern TV's. Their emulators are also so well developed to the point where they look like remasters. The playstation 2 one can even play games off the original disks. But if you are wanting original hardware for collection purposes that's the only reason I would recommend getting it.

Get a PS2 and buy a component cable for it so it will look better on an HDTV. Some of the later games support 16:9 widescreen and HD resolutions. There are a lot of great, exclusive games for the system. I'm still working through my backlog, I have a handful of games I just somehow never got around to playing. I have my original fat PS2 as well as a slim model. Both still work fine.

I'll just rattle of some of the games and game series I like: Disgaea, Dynasty Warriors, Soulcalibur, Guilty Gear, Tekken, Motorstorm, Xenosaga, Suikoden, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Resident Evil, Onimusha, Valkyrie Profile 2, Persona 3 and 4, Metal Slug Anthology, Dark Cloud 2, Robotech Battlecry, Dragon Quest VIII, Mana Khemia.
I'd like to thank Patuk for talking about Nanao enough to convince me to download his bank!
no idea if its just the way this UST is set up, but I am having a difficult time lining up the vocals with the mix hhhhhh

EDIT: Got the vocals lined up, finally, but now my goal is to find a good off vocal, because the ones I've heard haven't been very good

and before anyone asks, I've got the on vocal lined up with the notes in SynthV and it sounds better than in my DAW, so maybe I just don't have them lined up correctly there
In order to practice my SynthV tuning, I might do a cover of the bossa nova miku medley with Rikka!
Might just throw out my UTAU bank otos and restart from scratch. Somehow I otoed them really weird
So, I'm sure this isn't the case, but would you have to add in the international shipping if you buy the digital version of a voicebank?
    peaches2217
    peaches2217
Nope! If it's a digital download, there's no international charge. They don't charge international shipping unless you want them to ship a boxed product directly from their warehouse to your country. (I bought Rikka digitally, and it was just like buying a Vocaloid from the official website!)

@peaches2217 thank you for the clarification! I was thinking about just buying Rikka's standard when I get the money, and wasn't sure if I would need to add the international shipping to my cart! and while i'm on the topic, while I know Internet Co. requires shipping services to get their physical products, but you can buy downloads from them without one, correct? I'm assuming its the same as AHS

If you're just buying the digital download, there's no shipping involved so you don't need to add it.

But be sure you're buying the digital from this page and not the .net store - that store is for physicals only!
