I don't know of any generic version of Pedialyte, unfortunately. There are other brands, such as Liquid IV, that provide the same level of electrolytes, but they cost just as much.
You can get Gatorade (which has a significantly lower electrolyte content, obviously) in cans of powder though. Back when I worked in retail, we'd pour them into large insulated coolers. It runs about $9 for a coffee can sized thing of Gatorade mix that will make six gallons.
