I don't really think there's that huge of an overlap between the Project Sekai fandom and vocal synth users (going by how the English fandom tends to treat the game I find it difficult to imagine they'd be willing to purchase one anyway dfoijfoi). It's easy to ignore them, either way.
I think it'd be cool, but it'd be a little insane since Sekai's whole thing is that they're normal humans who use virtual singers to help them overcome their troubles. Obviously Sekai wouldn't have to acknowledge the synth versions of these characters (if they were to happen, and it'd probably be Ichika over anyone else) but it just seems like Crypton/the devs would like to keep that integrity, aha.
