  • I get confused sometime, I see some people want to make their own voicebank but they don't want to record their own voice, instead they ask someone to do the whole recording process and they said "send it to me", let me named the vb and create a logo, mascot, character or whatever for it and i call it my very own vb. But hey, i give u a credit for voices.

It's doesn't sound right to me, If voice provider (voice donor) "willing to" that's another story but still... is that fair?
If they paid for voices and performance properly, it's a fair game. In my opinion.

Thanks for opinion, i guess that's fine, i do oto for other vb but when it's not 100% his own vb i'm quite hesitate to take a request, for this case it can be a hassle > S***hit the fan if worse case happen.

From what I’ve seen happen between people, having some sort of contract/agreement is probably best even without any payment. But honestly it does kinda creep me out when people ask random people/put something out on the internet(not friends or acquaintances) looking for voice providers for no pay.(especially since so many of those people seem to be teenagers or young adults who might not understand legal issues.)

I do agree with all the comment, it is best to communicate with people involved in the project and making a proper terms of agreement.
This problem happen before in my commu back then in 2011-2013, there is someone who do cleaning audio files and oto config but he was accused of being a thief without knowing it. As far as i know, the reason is illustrator(vb creator) want this demo vb to sing a song that voice provider doesn't like and seem like 2 person have some private conversation that start to developed from bad to worse so illustrator guy decided to bailing out and carry this vb with him, But this unfortunate guy who have no idea got his name strap to the vb that he's otoing and for some reason, most people think he's the culprit, and before he know about what happened, it's too late.

I think this kind of problem can be solved by credit voice donor properly or properly paid for voices seem like the best option.

This song is very popular among coverist, utaite, singer etc, you might find swing jazz ver, piano ballad ver, acoustic ver and a lot more.
Unfortunately i can't share full version of project file, my friend doesn't seem to appreciate when i ask about this. I tried to talk to get the most out of it, but this is all i can get.
I didn't mix this song but yukino-san who mix this for me. She take my lectures almost a year now, back then she just having fun tweaking bypass plugin but now she's have her own vcv utau, deep vocal and mix for other in free time.
After finishing the vocaloids collaboration between group during meeting. I decided to share it in my profile post here, if people interested.

This quite interesting to me since i can get my hands on one of the (so many) voicebanks that i don't know about. I have opportunity to use VY1, Miki, Lumi, Meril, Yukari and vflower.. well, i already give vflower to someone else who needed, so... i count that too.
This surprise me, i thought peoples who join collab here will likely have a tons of voicebank in their inventory like...10-20 VBs. Turn out that is exact opposite.
I do use more than i mention but i can't remember all the name.
I quite like all voicebanks that i used, some voicebank have distinct habit of singing, example is Meril and Lumi which is stand out the most, this can prove to be difficult. Also i have to mention that, the way VBs behaved to all edit and input to all relevant singing range and parameters is really important or "maybe" the most important thing when it come to training. Most of VBs i've use here are fairly consistent when it come to handling the input from user, example is Yukari, it can do note blending, double up vowels, consonants blending... be very creative with or pitch blending... I can go as far as i can. Some VBs are not so good at note blending but i can't talk about parameter blending because every VB responding to input differently, when i switch VB and playback it's feel like i'm overdo sometime and i switch to another VB it don't sound like they've been affected by input that much.

Overall, such an eye opening experience, if you guys have a group of friends, i recommend it.
I would like to share the result but sharing to other place it prohibited.

I do feel bad about this since i didn't make it good enough. I might refine it again.
