    This is amazing.

    I heard some people don't like it, even call it sound dreadful but i think it sound pleasing...

    I would like the voice synths to be more standardized in general, especially the editor itself. Let say, i want gumi but i also want to use it on piapro or synthv but it is impossible, because it's incompatible. However if they standardized the whole editor and make all voicebank use the same suffix (let say .vbxml) that alone will simplifies thing like data sharing, transport, cross platform support (without data loss) and every editor on the market can read .vbxml and can use all vbs at full potential (or at least 80% of it) and the benefit of cross platform is that you can save and export your project files to standardized suffix (let say .mscxml) and switch to other editor or send it to someone else with hassle free and actually take some of the weight out of customer back.

    This is impossible and pointless to ask for but, i'd like to see it happen.

    Like an oto.ini standard for all platforms. It'd be cool. I wonder what entity/company/group would take up the mantle of writing the standard, or how that would work. I honestly think I'd be possible for concatenative voicebanks.

    In a DAW world, we have vsts format, aax, RTAS (protools being protools) and AU (mac being mac), there is also ancient DX format. It's sound like a lot and very confusing but not at all.... simply Windows = vsts, Mac = vsts, aax, RTAS, AU and that's it. The plugins company "have" to support all relevant format possible because they have to stay competitive but unlike vocal synth, they are doing their own thing. If you want to use their vbs line-up you have to use their editor or you can't use their vb, simple as that.

    Almost all DAW these day support ARA v1-v2 which is greatly expand the bandwidth and compatibility, i think vocaloid 6 is support ARA v2 too, thumb-up for smart move by yamaha.

    I feel like Ads getting really bad to worse every year to the point that it poisoning the contents itself. I can't imagine that using massive 4k monitor but you barely see anything because ads just block your entire screen... most of the time you can't even turn it off..

    Ads more like aids for me because it's spread like one.

    I stopped using the YouTube app ages ago because the ads were starting to affect the actual usability of it. Now I just hop on to the browser version of YT via Opera (because it comes with an adblocker) on either my phone or tablet, and most of the ads are stopped in their tracks.

    In general, every internet user should be using a browser that either comes with an adblocker preinstalled, or lets you install a third-party add-on like uBlock Origin. I'm constantly baffled at the amount of people who pay for YT Premium when there's free ways to circumvent the worst aspect of the site.

    I don't mind the ads because it's a part of marketing but, they all gone too far and infected almost anything... website, mobile game, video streaming platform etc, and some ads should be illegal especially adult content ads. But no... it's doesn't have age restriction, but heyyy our game have age restriction... so it is legal...

    In my opinion, people who willing to pay for YT premium because they don't know any better, at the same time they don't want to watch the cheap, repetitive and crudely made ads so they pay to save 5-10seconds of their valuable time and sanity.

    It's okay to express your thought, i'm happy to talk too! but i have to remind you that don't go too hard, especially in public area, this maybe very different depend on culture but try to keep it natural is a good idea.

    It is a limiter but it have a soft clipping that use a Monotonic sigmoid function (S-curve) with symmetrical shape, so it will saturate and compress the sound if you push it.

    This plugin require registration on the website though.

    Ohh, pretty cool. I still need to learn about the different types of plugins, I learned about compressors, but I forgot some days later T^T This whole sound design stuff is so wholesome and you seems like someone who knows about mixing. Where do you get your infos about mixing?

    I will test this one, I was using MVMeter, but didn't helped too much except for making the vocals less bright and the instrumentals even bigger than they already were.

    To be honest. I don't know much about mixing, i mostly read on the book, in my case is EDM friday book, it tell me a bit of everything. You can also learn on youtube or forum and such. I do recommend dedicate channel on youtube though.

    After i tried using Lumi for a few week now and I can't find an optimal way to use it. The issue i have is it doesn't behave like other vbs when i start editing. Maybe, when this vb was made they use different technique or different method of making it. But, it sound great, i would say that it very close to IA when come to quality. A mellow airy voice is quite rare among vocaloid banks. Still, i don't understand why they decided to made it in such a way, did it offer any advantage over any vbs?

    True, she sounds wholesome. Try using her genderbend factor, this is what I do with CUL. CUL at her lower notes sounds like Miku. Also, don't forget compression and equalization, there is this plugin called OTT they always helps to bring forth the tone of any vocaloid (Believe me, it makes Chika not sound like Gumi).

    But I recommend OTT just for tunning bc OTT can mess a little bit your samples, what will make mixing a little bit hard later. For my CUL covers I like to use at least 2 to 3 compressors and this always helps to bring her voice tone to a similar level. Can you post a sample so I can see what is happening?

    I forgot to mention that problem i found while using lumi is come from user error(myself) the voicebank is perfectly fine, there is nothing wrong with it.
