    Just FYI, I’m seeing aTeto Synth V giveaway floating around on twitter that is for three code activations. Instead of being three unique serial codes, it’s for three activations of a single code. Not safe and most likely a violation of Synth V’s TOS.

    My mom was kinda forced to put up a fundraiser for me and I absolutely hate it. I don’t want to have my name, health conditions, and picture out there. She will sometimes get on mute about not using my real name online, like it somehow makes people online less real or something, but I just want my privacy.

    In other news, we were driving around and ran into a Whole Foods yesterday. I don’t like the company, but I found the soy free white chocolate chips I’ve been looking for there!! Super expensive, but totally worth it and super yummy. (Like two dollars over guitard’s website’s msrp and the regular chocolate ones were reasonably priced, but…) I also picked up some WF branded organic vanilla ice cream that doesn’t have eggs in it, so hopefully it’s good.

    I only like Whole Foods because they have so many fancy soaps. I visited my mom a few weeks back and stopped by to get a soap sampler on my way back! I should try those white chocolate chip cookies next time.

    They do have quite a few nice soaps! I really like Bronner’s liquid sugar soap, but this Whole Foods was a few dollars more for it than the store I got it at in the last area I lived in. :/
    Oh, they’re not cookies, they’re actually baking chips. Finding soy free white chocolate has been much harder than regular chocolate for some reason.

    If you are thinking of joining the tuning contest that audiologie has donated a prize to, please thoroughly read the rules. There are some really weird ones that I’ve never seen in a tuning contest before.
    Removing points for penalties (Synth V AI being used, poor mixing, using short version of song, non-self made base file)
    You can not use a self made Utau or AI singer. (There are plenty of people I’ve seen that almost exclusively use their own banks because of things like feature limitations with others/being able to comfortably use a bank with terms they understand/using an Utau instead of singing themselves/etc, so this is def a very strange rule.
    A contradiction in the rules (referencing singers or singing sources really/synthesized is ok, even looking at the pitch of singing in melodyne and copying in vocalsymth is ok, but directly copying tuning via vocalshifter/melodyne/etc will get you disqualified. Like how is that any different? I have heard/seen people copy tuning/singing styles by ear without directly copying it)
    Song choices are restricted and basically first come first served. (Only two contestants can cover the same song at one time. There is no waiting period/discussion/lottery to make this rule work)
    You can’t use a vb built for the language you are using it for, plus if they have any extra phonemes for the language you can’t use them.(ex. It you use a JP utau for English that has L sounds you can’t use them) Also no cross lingual can be used.(I get that it’s the theme, but seriously no L sounds??)

    Also correct me if Im wrong but I dont even think they mentioned that theyd be judging the accuracy of the language they force those vbs into :LOL: ? but maybe im mistaken

    and how would they even judge it if they dont speak a lick of some of these languages? this whole contest sounds more and more like a bad idea the more i think about it

    Yeah this whole thing seems poorly organized. Like @Legally Pipp Petals pointed out, they would need people who actually speak those languages the contestants used to judge accurately and like that might be doable for english, and maybe even some of the other popular languages for vsynth but what are they gonna do if a conestant hits them with Polish or Hungarian? Or an obscure dialect of another language?

    I suspect audiologie sponsored them because it's a community run tuning contest with some popularity and audiologie always seems to be more willing to actively participate in the fandom, much like companies like Eclipsed Sounds or Futaba Minato's management team. audiologie in paticular is a very "by fans, for fans" kind off company from what I've seen, a company with that kind of image could stand to gain good PR by providing prizes and judging a fan ran contest, so I see the method to the madness. Still, I think they should have considered this a bit more carefully before they decided to sponsor this contest... Now they just end up getting egg on their face because the contest organizers were clearly not prepared for hosting a larger scale version of this event.

    @mary34 literally, my bf was wanting to do slovak song, Im about the only slovak person that Im aware of thats active in fandom, I know of 3 active czech fandom members and Im not even sure if the 3rd one speaks czech ( slovaks and czechs are inherently fluent in one anothers languages so both would be fair judges )

    I can’t believe that Niigo Kaito finally debuted. Now that all of the groups’ virtual singers have been introduced it’s time for Crypton to team up with other companies and add other vocaloids/synthvs/cevios to the game. Just think, a Kamitsubaki crossover would be awesome.

    I actually think about what the Sekai Avannas would be like sometimes. Avanna doesn't have marketing or a franchise like Miku does, but I can use my imagination, OK?

    WxS Avanna would be fun. I can imagine her having a unique way of speaking, like using poetic meter or something

    I think about how other vsynths would be adapted all the time. I imagine to not break the game the cards would technically have to "belong" to an existing Sekai or Crypton character, but I still think they'd add them and be faithful to new characters. A collaboration hasn't happened since Servant of Evil, but it was massively successful. I just think it took an insane amount of labor.

    When I replace my drawing tablet, I want to try creating different versions of Teto or maybe other characters for the different groups.

    @pico Given that Teto has been in the Diva games, I could see Sega trying to add her to Sekai as an april fools thing.

    (I’ve been trying to cover some songs with four utau and one commercial vocal synth kinda like the groups in Project Sekai, so thinking about other synths in virtual singers has kinda turned into one of my favorite pastimes. I kind of have a bootleg virtual singer group based on the vocaloids I own. lol)

    Ended up at outlet stores looking for a new belt, and I made my mom go into the coach outlets store. I so don’t need anymore bags, I take my mini camera bag and backpack everywhere, but I love to see the new colors and patterns. There were some coral colored bags and wallets on clearance that were gorgeous!(I ended up getting a cool fabric/canvas belt at eddie bauer)

    This is a pretty cool looking program. Supposedly it can change the image just slightly enough that AI won’t be able to copy your style. AI can still create something based on an image of yours, but on your exact style. Not so great for artists with a lot of art out there, but it is something. Completely free from the University of Chicago. Also it is continuing to be worked on.

    So we are finally (mostly) free of the hotel we’ve been at the last 3 years. I don’t know what happen with housing cause we don’t have much money. We had to stop an hour away from where we were since we had to repack the cargo trailer and put stuff in storage as well d the cats being in the car too long and not getting enough sleep last night. Tomorrow we’ll drive the other three hours and then figure out what to do when we get to our destination.

    I figured out my really cold issue. Been looking at covid induced thyroiditis after some weird lab results and two weeks of throat swelling after last bought of covid. Went looking at thyroid issues after really strange blood pressure yesterday and low and behold I forgot that hypothyroidism causes low temp and feeling cold. (To make matters worse I ran out of levothyroxine a few days ago cause a local endocrinologist didn’t write for it even though he said he would and I’ve been on it for years.)

    Thank you. The place I’m moving to on Monday is near a major city and has a ton of doctors and medical schools, so I should be able to find a doc who can deal with complex stuff pretty easily. I actually found a 1.5/2 year old levothyroxine in a pill container in a drawer last night, so I had half last night and have half for tomorrow night.(Yeah I switched from taking it separately from my other meds to taking it with my nightly loratidine, since I was routinely forgetting it one a week. Funnily forgetting actually came in handy. lol)

    Anyone else have where your brain is working, but you just can’t focus properly? I can’t seem to figure out how to pack my electronic gear for the last hour. Maybe I need to eat something.

    Maybe stress or excessive worry causes you to lose present monent, it's hard to stay focused when this happen, so take some snack time or tea time (i like tea!) then come back again.

    My mom is running around in a tank top and shorts with the room temp set low, meanwhile I’m in cotton/poly sweatpants, poly slipper socks, and a long sleeve shirt and am so cold that I’m not functional.(I am too cold to do the packing I need to) The thermometer on the table next to me said that it’s 65 degrees in here. She yelled at me when I objected to her turning the thermostat from 73 to 72.(It’s hotel AC so a ton of cold air is coming from outside, but the thermostat is far enough away to not register the air incursion)

    (as for cold, since is hotel, it can help to use the bathroom to wash your hands with hot water, keep your hands and wrists under the running hot water for at least 30 seconds, and you'll feel warm a bit more) :midorizakikasumi_lili:

    It’s better now, I was able to increase the temp in the other rooms and turned on the dehumidifier. We’ve been living in two connected 1 bedroom rooms for the last 3 years, so I should now how to optimize it by now, but we’re leaving soon so. :/

    It’s been really comforting to watch Extraordinary Attorney Woo actually.
    I’ve been thinking about why that is and I’m pretty sure that it’s because there are things that she does that I would probably do if I hadn’t been conditioned to act like a neurotypical person my whole life and that seeing that on screen actually makes me relax some. Even my mom who says that she is probably autistic as well wants me to act like a neurotypical person.(I don’t have a formal diagnosis, but I’m pretty sure I have autism with some ADD features at this point)

    So I’m going to install Godot and Blender, but first to deactivate Vocaloid and Synth V. I have no idea what’s going to happen with windows anymore because of the problems I’ve had with different devices. :/
