Oo~, juicy. Which voices are on the list? I wonder if they would reveal their plans if we asked around. (Probably not...) I wonder how many companies realize they could leave to another software?

@uncreepy The Wikipedia page for Vocaloid 4 have many of the dates of when some of those banks were released.

Ruby was October 7th, 2015. Dex & Daina was November 20th, 2015 (not in the wikipedia page but linked to their own pages). Stardust was April 13th, 2016 (I have no idea when Quadimenion signed their contract with Yamaha but it's possible that their deal was made around when Vocanese was formed and the deal expired quite some time ago). Gumi's V4 banks were released on November 5th, 2015.

So yeah. Many english banks will be freed up next year and it's bad news for Yamaha unless they get their act together.

I remember Ruby's voice provider saying she tried to contact PowerFX about her doing additional marketing and a website and stuff for Ruby, but they wouldn't reply. I feel like even if PowerFX's voices are freed up, they might just let it go to waste because they're a mess. (Especially after witnessing them forgetting they own the rights to Oliver and kept redirecting someone to Yamaha for Oliver questions, who kept redirecting them back to PowerFX.) Like, Yohioloid is older than 5 years, I wonder if Yohio would be able to actually update him if he could somehow get stuff worked out with it if someone mentioned it to him (he might not know about Synth V or other options). But I don't think any voices other than Zunko and Yoshida-kun have appeared on other engines in the history of Vocaloid, right?
