If it helps, you can disable updates for a week. (Have to go to Settings > Windows Update > Pause updates for 7 days. Or change the active hours to not be when you're online, I guess.)

Unfortunately, I had no idea this would happen until i got to class.
The teacher had to get me another laptop.
