A song called "Kittens in the Apple Forest". Someone on the Mastodon server mentioned wanting to do it but being unable to make a UST, so I figured it'd be good practice!
I'm just going with Teto for the time being, since the person's main VB is CV. And I'm pretty much just drawing out all of the notes, honestly... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do something different...
By the way, what do you do when notes sound like they're blending into each other? The song has a pretty steady beat (it's from a children's anime, so all of the notes are eight-notes), but Teto will randomly start a note early or hold a note out longer than she's supposed to.
How do you do that? Forgive my ignorance... I did that button-pressing you mentioned in our private chat, in the exact order you mentioned, but that didn't really resolve the issue.
I didn't. That's just clicking "Clear Cache", right? It sounds better now, but there's still a few notes here and there that cut in too early... it might sound better once it's with the music, though. Thank you!!
Nope, you have to select all the notes, right click, click on region property and clear all the things listed there except for lyric, note, lenght. Intensity should be on 100 and modulation on 0 ( you can play with those two later, they're part of the tuning process ). And you're welcome!
Oh. I'm sorry!! That fixed everything but one note... I tried adjusting the envelope, but that just cut off the entire first half of the note. (It's "ka", but if I do any adjusting to it it sounds like "a", so I guess I'm just gonna have to grin and bear it.)
