    She’s pretty easy to find fairly cheap through eBay. If you’ve got CeVIO, I highly recommend Minato!

    I think Cul is the first Vocaloid I can honestly say I would rather hear go too high than too low

    Also I'm surprised at how I kind of like how she sounds with Mayu better than with Lily???? Using Cul's trial has definitely been an interesting experience at least sflds

    I don’t think it was as much as it was taken down as it seems it never got out of private beta. The only references I’ve found to it are all about beta testing it. Idk if Misha just decided against finishing it or Ruby production started and she just had to give it up before she finished.

    I can't bring myself to focus enough to take new notes so I'm typing up the notes I've taken so far for my music theory MOOC. yey semi-productivity at least XP (I even worked a bit more on that DDR Aqours cover earlier but i'm.. still thinking about giving it up sdjflksdjf)

    I just know it's gonna be SO BAD but I can't yet fully bring myself to give up because A) I want more DDR content in the world even if it means I have to embarrass myself posting crap stuff and B) ... I forgot what B was, something something "I feel like if I give this up I might end up giving up using my synths forever" or something

    Which pianos are you looking at? Personally, I got an Akai MPK Mini at first, but it quickly became not enough (you can only play 2 octaves at once, so while reading Alfred's Adult Piano book I wasn't even able to play Christmas songs because you need 3 octaves). I got a full size Nektar Implact LX88+ used on Ebay and saved about $100, so if you are not used to asking for gifts, consider getting a used one (a lot of the time there are open box instruments that get sold cheaper).

    I’m leaning toward the Casio Privia PX-160 right now, but I think I was also looking at the Yamaha P45 back in December. (I feel like there was a third but I can’t remember a name at all) I had been considering getting just a midi controller instead (probably from Alesis because they have an 88 key one that’s relatively inexpensive and I was somewhat interested in the bundled software) but the more I think about it the more I feel that deep down it wouldn’t be as satisfying.

    I looked a bit at used ones but I didn’t have much luck with it. Honestly it’s just a hangup of mine that I feel no matter the cost, I usually hesitate to ask for things even if it’s just $20

    Yeah... I get what you're saying about hesitating to "treat yourself" to something you've been eyeing for a long time, I have the same problem. : ( There never really is a time that it feels right to finally buy it, just rip of the band-aid and then enjoy the thing when it arrives.
