  • What's a "reaction?" Counters for them are displaying on profiles since the last update. I remember seeing them after the site launched, too, but they disappeared soon thereafter.

@ZAR-PARTY "+notifs"? Sorry, I still don't understand. Is that like people following you, or likes? I've got both of those, but my reactions are still all 0s.

Might be a new feature that will become available for us to use soon...? : 0

It's a feature we had implemented before site launch. We decided it needed some changes before we made it public so we disabled it, but they still display on some mod/admins profiles. It should come in the future, once we've worked on it more.
Just an FYI for anyone who happens to look for me at some point: I'm not going to be logging on much/at all for awhile, as there are a few things I'm looking at taking care of. So if you happen to wonder why you haven't seen me much, that's why.
Just finished scouting escape routes/hiding places/available improvised armaments for the drill....
Just found out that I'm going to be doing some kind of anti-intruder safety training. Now "Himitsu Keisatsu" is going through my head...and my iPod :).
'Bout ready to give up on stripping vocals out of audio files. Easier/better quality (hopefully?) to just recreate the background with the Studio One instruments.
Looks like the Kaito fire's still burnin'...
    "It was always burning
    Since the world's been turning
    ...
    But when we are gone
Will it still burn on, and on, and on, and on"

(*shot for posting about such an old song*)
You might need a new PC if:
    1) It takes so long to open stuff that, by the time it appears, you forget why you wanted it.
    2) You visit VVN on your phone, despite having your PC doing its thing right in front of you....

you know you need a new PC if you can't access internet, it freezes after booting up & you get blue screens and errors on a regular basis
Can't believe I managed to get the whole vocal track for my cover into Anvil Studio last night. Took much longer for my last cover. Can't wait to give it to Miku!
I got invited to some weird kind of social media property that I've never heard of. The invite URL I got looked something like this: [something]SAO@[something].com.

If I lurked in the thread, do you think I'd die in real life?
Adding music to my library goes a lot more slowly when I can't help listening to the whole songs before tagging, adding artwork, etc. :)
In addition to tagging, having iTunes handle artist names individually would be a solid improvement, too. A collaboration song between two artists currently shows up as its own entry in the artist list. So if you just go to either artist, the song never shows up.
iTunes really needs some kind of actual tagging feature. It has smart playlists, which let you choose songs by setting filters that find music for you based on song info. But all you have to work with are the fields Apple gives you, so doing anything more custom than filtering by those means you have to cannibalize an existing field....

    (Aw, heck....)

    Also...KAITO.

I've created a tag system for my entire itunes library using the "grouping" section, which barely anything uses. It allows me to sort by language, singer, duets/solos, original/cover, etc. Just keep stuff separated by underscores and you're good to go!

That's actually what I've been doing, too! The only drawback is if you have more than one tag, editing songs en masse can be problematic. If you have tags on your existing songs, and then you select multiple of them to add a new tag, the new tag doesn't get appended to the existing ones. The grouping field just gets overwritten. Works well other than that, though--it's just that which irks me.

Yeah, mass editing tags is near impossible for me because of how specific I get editing stuff. I put every one of them in manually. A real tagging system would be amazing, but tbh if it came out at this point I'm not sure I'd ever use it considering how many songs I would have to retag haha.
I had "Mizukagami Garden" stuck in my head on and off this morning. Made me wonder: supposedly listening to music can temporarily change the pattern of your brain waves. Could your brain waves, conversely, draw particular music out of your memories and bring it to mind? Was there something in my head on repeat? Or is it probably just my mood at work? Or are those the same thing?
