  • Be still my heart, LRP DOES have a hydrating mist! So now I'm stuck between that one and the Milky Hydrating Tonic.

Now to find something discreet to put it into, because my mother will probably kick me out if I bring home another skincare product.
Hm... I'm on the lookout for a hydrating mist to make my hyaluronic acid serum more fun to use. I went on one of my FB groups asking for suggestions that I could get locally (I adore our UPS lady and don't wanna add to her burden by ordering online), but everyone's suggesting stuff I can only get online anyway, SO time for some independent research!

Cleen's Coconut Hibiscus Mist looks nice, but it's got witch hazel, which shouldn't be used on one's whole face (otherwise I'd just use my Thayers, which smells nice but is far more astringent than hydrating). I'm leaning towards Pixi's Hydrating Milky Mist ('cause I'm a slut for oats in skincare), but I like the ingredients of their Milky Tonic more, but since it's a toner and not a mist, would putting it in a spray bottle and using it as a mist count as double-toning, and what would the consequences of that be? Logically I know there WOULDN'T be consequences, but I still get paranoid, because I'm a stickler for applying skincare products in the correct order...

I could always look into Shea Moisture's mists, I'm sure they've got some, but I don't trust them after that whole Fermented Ass Cleanser incident. Maybe La Roche-Posay's got some? I dunno, I'm still pretty new to their products, since there's only one place in town you can get them... I'd have more options if Ulta wasn't shut down and I wasn't boycotting Sephora.

Then again, with what they pulled, maybe I could justify... no, even stepping foot into their store benefits them. I'll stick to things I can find in Target and Walmart.
After a long, arduous struggle, I (kinda) got Boomco working! I'm not sure if I have the patience for her just now though...

Pure hyaluronic acid smells so bad... like, not neem oil-bad by any means, but it’s certainly not pleasant.

Skin, you’d better be grateful for this, you thirsty-ass bitch.
Now that I've got my hands on Budget Japanese Haiyi Boomco's Japanese bank, I'm gonna get her up and singin'! Since she's VCV, I'm rendering her initially with Tei, because their vocals are pretty similar stylistically.

Actually, I really like Boomco so far! She needs some TLC to really sound good, but it's worth it!!
Ugh... This copy of ACT1 has already been activated AND registered, and the buyer is refusing contact with the proxy I bought them through. Dammit. I know I just wanted their box, but I was still kinda hoping I'd get a functional product.
Niang/Boomco is now my child and I ship her with Haiyi. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

    Words of wisdom my friend.
It's still another twelve hours until it's the First in Japan... hurry up! The longer this cover sits in my computer, the more changes I keep making to it!

TFW you downloaded a Vocaloid song off of iTunes ten years ago, and then one night you hear it again for the first time since you were fifteen, and you get a wild hair and go looking for an off-vocal, not really expecting to find anything... but there IS an official off-vocal, and it sounds amazing?

    Yeah, that's a fantastic feeling.
Haiyi's VP has an UTAU that's in both Chinese and Japanese! And she's still available for download! This is amazing~
So we still don't have an official release date for NA, but XSEED's finally confirmed it'll be this summer, so it'll be around the European/Australian release date! Ah, I'm so excited, and now I'm going to launch headlong into another BokuMono obsession phase.
Sitting at my dad's, adding another layer of tuning to my Teto cover while sipping Dr. Pepper and watching Forrest Gump with my dad, stepmom, stepsister, and dog. This is the first really relaxing afternoon I've had in a while.

I'm hoping to be productive this weekend!
Considering this is my first real attempt at hardcore editing in UTAU, and I did this in one night, and I'm using Teto's CV because I'm still figuring VCV out, I don't think it's half bad! Other than the fact that SoundCloud struck it down on a copyright claim... that's troublesome. Hopefully the same won't happen if I put it on YouTube.

Anyway, I'd like to try doing the full song! Maybe I CAN make it in time for Teto's birthday.

Wowww impressive!! You can tell it's CV, but it sounds really good! You can tell you put tuning into it :D
UTAU is so scary to me, since it seems like it has a steeper learning curve, but it also definitely has some perks even over Vocaloid, and it produces some really great results! Best of luck with it!! :D

i forgot teto even had a cv bank ??!?! i mean this doesn't sound too bad considering^^

VCV is basically CV but with the last vowel in front. kokoro in CV would be split as [ko] [ko] [ro], but in VCV it'd be: [- ko] [o ko] [o ro]
Okay! My UTAUs are organized and I'm back in business! I wanna see if I can make a short Teto cover in time for her birthday, though I doubt it, so it'll at least be some fun experimentation.
