V5 took some warming up to initially, but now I can't even see myself going back to V4. A revamped breathiness parameter, exciter, real-time pitch rendering, the VSTi version, vocal effects, etc... I love it skfjdf

I have been using v5 for a while now cause I lost my v4 editor >.> and I still don't like it at all I hate having to have it all render to hear what I just tuned and I HATE how I have to click into each individual part and change them there for the singer and style ;-;. The style and vocal effects in it tho are nice! and worth the tradeoff! I just prefer the ease of use in v4 cause it's what I'm used to (and I can never get the v5 parameters back to 0)

you can slice the track to extremely minimalize the rendering time and once youre done all the sliced parts can be glued back together and to have parameter revert back to default click "Ctrl + click" ^^

The V5 hate is getting ridiculous. I saw a comment on a Kotonoha Aoi/Akane cover that said "Meika Hime couldn't sing this well" or something along those lines, and I was so confused. What does Meika Hime have anything to do with Aoi/Akane? They don't even sound similar to each other.

RIGHT?? Like... they're on separate SYNTHS, for crying out loud. You don't have to shit on one to uplift the other. It's like people go out of their way to insult V5, its features, and even its users, nevermind the VBs that dare to exist on it.

They insult V5 users now? That's very saddening to hear. You shouldn't be rude to someone because they prefer one version of the editor to the other.
I feel bad for all the V5 VBs. People treat them as if they're the worst things to have ever existed, especially the base V5 vocals. Sometimes I think people only hate them because of the design Yamaha chose.

Yee that def cray I have no qualms with the voicebanks I just vastly prefer v4 cause of reasons above and also job plugins save so much time to get say a nice engrish base or a nice base for Maika english (and a wonderful SeeU english one someone made can't recall who) that they for some reason got rid of in v5? (correct me if wrong cause I didn't know I could reattach my parts in v5 tbh)
