  • So I am almost a complete v5 convert I figured out what the emotion tool does and oh my lord I love it (I say almost cause my laptop is too trash for the sheer power of v5)

That sounds incredible:kanon_lili: I am going to have to give it a try soon.

I went to the editor after you told me of this, and I was very happy as well when I was able to figure it out. The more ways to tune, the more you can do with your favorite Vocaloids :sonika_ani_lili: It also helps with vocal fry as well.
Can't possibly be me changing my mind on the vocal and retuning no never
https://clyp.it/3hevhuu3 Still on the fence so I have 2 vsqx being tuned rn >.> cause I am a Sweet Ann stan but dear god tuning her with this many fast notes is tortures
I have 2 sides the logical side that is telling me that I don't need Miku nt because I will never use her and the gremlin side of me that sees shiny box and must buy

IKR? Her box is really pretty

I dont know if I’ll buy her cuz I recently got Miku V4x and imo the best sounding Miku so-

I have to admit her box is very pretty... honestly we should just ask them to make an option where you only buy the box without the actual software /s
Miku's new design has made me get obsessed over her all over again hhhhhgffg I was drawing her a few days ago so if anything i'll make my own box :cul_lili: it would be a sad attempt though.

I would LOVE that option I'm obsessed with her new design too ;-; and don't sell yourself short you work hard at your art so anything you do would be amazing!

V5 has a personal vendetta out for me for being fake towards it I swear XD actually love tuning in it now but it just decides to crash on me (probs my laptop not being like quite good enough to run it properly) at the most inopportune times anymore XD including when I am saving which is that biggest welp one
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who liked Miku v4x's design was my second favorite after v3 English XD but NT is def cuter overall and O love it ;-; can't wait to see the queens Meiko and Luka

You aren't the only one--I personally like V4X's thinner tails. They're not as flashy as the hair of Miku's other incarnations, and I don't really have an issue with either style, but I appreciate the fact that they're a little more realistic that way.

I think I liked her thinner tails too more than the puffy-er style her NT has, but maybe that's because I haven't seen her illustrated with bigger tails as much. But I like the outfit of NT probably best over all of her designs. And I absolutely can't wait to see Luka's NT design!!

Yeah! her outift is amazing in NT one thing I hope they bring over Luka v4x's belt so much that is my favorite design aspect for any vocaloid tbh it is so gooooooood

The worst part is that it’s not just that, it’s how patronizing Emvoice’s developer is toward literally every single vocalsynth that’s come before. He’s one of those “Vocaloid users are pathetic weeaboos and MY synth is the only GOOD one because it’s UNTAINTED by Japanese influence!” types. Think That One Mod on the Vocaloid wiki, but attempting to monetize on their condescending opinions.

He is one of those vocal synth fans? good grief, as if that mod on the wiki was not enough:gackpo_lili:and what is so wrong with a Japanese influence? Everyone is influenced by something. It is ironic he complains about a Japanese influence when I believe Vocaloid was initially developed in Spain(correct me if I am wrong). I know Kanru can be a bit full of himself at times, but this Emvoice developer makes Kanru's comments about SynthV look humble.
edit: Also, SynthV has a lot of genuine love and effort put into it and is accessible and does not have restrictions, unlike EmVoice.

Most vocal synths now are coming out of Japan anyway, so it's kinda hard to not unintentionally have some Japanese influence with either the interface, the packaging, the VBs and any avatars they have, etc. Again, it's hilarious when you consider that Vocaloid's earliest development was in Spain, so they were probably floating around ideas of Spanish support right off the bat, rather than just having Japanese and English.

It also bums me out knowing that Lucy has a nice voice, but she could be served better on a higher quality engine. (I didn't even know Lucy's VP did an UTAU until today, and UTAU has come such a long way that I now really find it viable in comparison to synths like EmVoice. Being a free vocal synth helps UTAU first and foremost though lol).
As a V5 noob I might need a bit of help is there anyway to display multiple parameters at once like in v4? like having velocity behind pitch so I know where to start tuning easier?

Nope, as far as I'm aware it's never been possible. a way to do that kinda thing would be to click at the beginning of the note you wanna tune and use it as a guide. I'll send you an image to explain myself better dffgdfg

I do what @msmsmsm does at well. It can be a bit annoying at times, but I find making notes in V5 is easier then V4 so I do not mind it.
