  • Just realized it's been two and a half months since I last posted finished art online. I have done a couple since then, but both are waiting to be posted (due to commissioners' wishes I can't publish them yet)
We got a new deadline for our work project; December 7th, although pretty much everyone knows the site won't be completed by then. There's still a ton of stonework, planting, making gravel surfaces etc. etc. It's just more stress again.
Oh, my new (second-hand) computer arrived. Already installed Clip Studio and tried it out a bit. The colour presentation is better than in my old PC, and this new one should be able to handle things much faster.
Work is getting increasingly stressful now. Deadlines for various parts of the project are approaching and weather's getting colder next week (which prevents some stuff like gluing artificial turf mats), so it's going to be long hours
Preorders for Magical Mirai Tokyo official merchandise start today. I won't be spending as much as I did on the Osaka goods, but there's some things I need to have
Drawing Flower for a change. I don't need references for drawing Miku, but with Flower it's a different story, even when it's a simple drawing
Winter's coming, it sleeted this morning for the first time this autumn, and the forecast says it may snow on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. And the temperatures now are just around zero or barely above that. At work I have to be outdoors all day so it's not very pleasant.

So it's like summer over there! Here it's extremely rare to go above 30°C even during summer, at this time of the year ten degrees is a luxury.

I live in the desert so it's basically summer every month of the year, except for maybe dec-feb where it gets down to like 50 F (10 C) as the coldest!
I've finally had it with my old computer. It's freezing almost every time I try to save a high resolution work on Clip Studio Paint, most of my time I would've liked to spend on drawing went into waiting for it to save/process something and restarting. In the end I didn't get to work much, so what I did is order a much more powerful used Fujitsu laptop. It wasn't cheap, but I can't stand the lagging and freezing of my old PC any longer.
I've been working on a slightly-more-important-than-usual illustration since early september. Now the deadline is next weekend, so I have to try and take time to work on it every evening. The downside is that it's less sleep for me, who's already getting only barely enough sleep on workdays.
I went to buy what I thought I have to have of the Magical Mirai preorder goods. I already left out some of the not so interesting things, and still the total was about 220 euros. That's a relatively large sum when you think about it, but Miku is always worth investing in (And that's still less than what I've spent on the official goods on site at previous Mirais)
Paid BiCute Bunnies Miku and Haregi Racing Miku 2019 prizes today, also preordered 1/4 scale V3 Miku rerelease and osoba Miku figures. That's a good amount of money spent, but they're definitely worth the investment
There's three prize figures releasing this month I need to buy; BiCute Bunnies Miku, Racing Miku 2019 Haregi ver. and Tropical Summer Miku. And then there's the Galaxy Live full graphic T-shirt I want. It's time to start shopping soon
