    flower posted it so late that i didnt see it until the morning lol.
    not something i specifically care about but, the announcement was Project Sekai will include the song "Charles" with flower!

    regardless i always like seeing that flower is getting more publicity from things like this!

    having some random popular videos, it seems a lot of casual viewers just have...no idea what goes into making a cover and its always awkward being like.... no i cant just do that! sorry! in terms of ppl asking for a cover of some random obscure song: sorry mate, im probably not gonna get to that ever because theres no off vocal and additionally i dont make MIDI files myself often bc i am not good at it. additionally when making some Sonic character sing i often get "make [character] sing!" a lot, and its like id love to man but, it takes me a good while to do that in the first place and even longer to make sure it works and sounds good...

    it feel like some ppl do just think this stuff pops into existence without any prior knowledge or skill to get there lol. no hate to them, its just exhausting to remind ppl over and over i cannot just spawn the content they want to see in a few days!

    just rambling thoughts but man i am still so mixed about the idea of flower on Cevio in terms of like...wtf shes gonna sound like. and its the cevio AI thing too? which we havent heard many more demos of either. this AI stuff is cool in some ways but i have also seen in other ways that it kinda feels like it takes out some of the freedom that can be had with existing vocal synths like vocaloid, utau, or synth v. they have done some real cool deep learning to create more natural sounding voices and thats cool on its own, but i wouldnt want that to affect the voice so strongly that i cant make them sound more like how i want them to sound ya know? additionally as much as i want a new flower bank in order to either see her improved on or given more flexibility, i wouldnt want her to loose that rock-esque power her voice bank has always had but like, it would be nice to have the ability for her voice to be softer too. its hard for me to have a solid opinion, but im very much questioning the results of this AI learning stuff.... it IS cool but i dont know if i want to see it drive vocal synths into purely AI generated results and not stuff that can be altered by hand as well.

    @uncreepy yes i definitely wish they would just...give some more demos or looks at the software's interace usage before it is fully released. if the software learns from how the VP sings, it makes me wonder if flower's va is... capable of singing with the same power the flower received in her vocaloid voice banks! still, i just wish we knew...more about it lol. i love using flower and like using her for originals and stuff to, so id like to know more about it before i even consider buying it. of course i will have the option of vocaloid and all that, but if Flower is permantely moved to Cevio AI for a good while in the future, it would suck if the product lacks some of what i would expect because i would love to have a more updated, better sounding flower regardless... but i have no clue how itll work and sound and its definitely annoying that theres been a lack of demos even after Flower and Yukari were announced.

    I really don't think going to CeVIO AI is going to make them take down all of the Vocaloid versions. I think it's going to be sold on both engines. (If it weren't that case, they probably would give people a heads up, wouldn't they?) I did re-read the announcement and they said they were currently recruiting more new voices, so maybe Techno-Speech reached out to companies who had Vocaloids old enough (as in older than 5 years cause apparently that's when the contract expires for Yamaha) and gave them a good deal or something to join their lineup?

    Edit: I was thinking they probably won't get rid of the Vocaloid versions, because Techno-Speech is keeping CeVIO 6 and 7 (because 7 only works on 64 bit computers), I think CeVIO AI only works on 64 bit, too, and it seems like they are aware that not all fans can hob to CeVIO AI with their current hardware?

    oh yeah i couldnt imagine them getting rid of existing vocaloid voices tbh. at least id hope not. at this moment i havent seen other companies that have left vocaloid removing their vocaloid stuff (dont quote me on that though) so i dont think there'd be any legal resctrictions... if that did happen, oh boy, very little thinking on their end id say. id hope they recognize that for one, vocaloid are quite different programs compared to this AI stuff and if Cevio AI cant replace it fully with its functions theyd doom their selves in doing that- and secondly that fact of the software only being available on some systems (which i wouldnt expect to be such a big deal? new computers are pretty much always 64 bit now but of course there are folk that still cant/dont have the ability to upgrade so), its important to not close off an entire group of people from ever using any of your software easily. @uncreepy

    quite a while back, multiple years ago, i was attempting to make a google doc list of every v flower song ever that i came across. it has since died as i got a bit too busy, but also, i havent continued it because honestly it seems v flower has grown so much in popularity that i couldnt even begin to list the loads of other songs people have been making with her! imma link it here just because, since it does list some more obscure ones due to how long ago i made it. take a look! i am proud i managed to get almost 20 pages out of it before giving up lol. but its nice to know that sincce flower came out, she has grown in popularity so much!

    didnt really think id be using this forum much bc its been ages since i was a forum person but, i may starting threads for my covers and originals. i kinda left Amino bc that place is a mess, even tho i like trying to promote my stuff...i just cant stand checking that place lol. its a little more controlled here so i may try posting more.
