  • Departing with the fandom is so frigging hard. I feel obligated to stay because I've been a fan since I was 11-12, but I've fallen almost completely out of love with it and just feels like a toxic relationship at this point. Like, I still have bouts of optimism, but I always arrive at this conclusion where I want to leave but can't. I think it's best that I phase it out slowly and then dip because It's only a matter of time before I see something/someone that triggers me and I start to self-sabotage.
I've found using exciter on the [4] phoneme seems to help Japanese loids imitate the ㄹ sound. Of course, it's not gonna be the same quality as the Korean [rp] phoneme, but I find it more pleasing than using a [4 M]. Fiddling around with Avox Throat can help you get sounds close to the [7] phoneme too... Hopefully, I can test this out more and create a demonstration.
I really want to love neutrino, but the process of getting an output is so tedious.

This tutorial may help you both. Though I recommend using the editor instead of Neutrino itself. It is a bit rough around the edges currently, but it allows you to tune and is generally easier to use. It does not accept many formats though, so you may have to put your VSQ/VPR/UST/etc through a midi converter, then use Musescore to turn it into the correct format.

Oh I do all of that already, it's just the pure monotony of re-inserting the lyrics in Musescore. The results will always be of high quality (well, limited range and occasional errors aside), but I lose motivation like 2/4 of the way through. Maybe when we get some other voice types I'll be more invested.

The editor fixes the re-inserting problem as well, and you can draw your own notes without having to use Musescore. But I understand how you feel. As much as I love Itako, I think a different voice should have been chosen for the third(fourth I believe, but I think JSUT is Yoko still, but I am not sure). She can be a bit similar to Kiritan at times. I think a male vocal or a different type of female vocal should have been chosen.
what pitch bend sensitivity does everyone use? eye am curious... I stay on 4 for the most part because it gives me more freedom to draw while not sounding wacky :')

your tuning stands out imo so I think your cover would have new stuff to offer even if using the same vb but also I make it no secret that I really like Nana so I'm not stopping you jhgfdgh
Making fan-art for smaller/new artists is so incredibly rewarding! sure, it must be cool getting noticed by someone "significant", but I get some really sweet messages of gratitude from smaller artists and it's wonderful - even making some friends out of it! 🖤
Glad i'm not the only one who changes the colour of each track in V5 to correspond with the Vocaloid i'm using, like if (for example) my Merli track isn't coloured purple it feels awkward fgdffdg.
Can anyone recommend some video editing software? Preferably something free bc i'm broke dddd

I use VSDC! Its learning curve is fairly simple, and they have lots of official videos that show how to perform various functions you’ll need (and they’re very rarely longer than one minute, so they’re nice and curt).
