  • You know, I love Amazon, but I feel like for some stuff you really have to be careful about what you buy. It's all the folks who jump on there and make knock-off stuff. Cell phone peripherals? Do your best to make sure they come from the manufacturer, or at least from someone reputable. OTC drugs? Make sure you're not getting sugar-coated dog dander or something. How many times have I seen reviews that proclaim, "This is not the real thing!"? Really, how pathetic is it to be the person making money off of selling fake mouthwash? I mean, is that something you can stand up among your underworld buddies and be proud of?
As I work on songs, I often save them with sequential version numbers in case whatever happens. I'm currently on version...16.

Do you think I make myself too many savepoints? XD :)
I rewatched Magical Mirai 2015 this morning on Blu-ray. It's one of my favorite concerts now. Kaito does "Snowman;" Meiko does "Nostalogic;" Luka does "Just Be Friends;" Rin and Len do "Remote Controller;" Miku does "Sweet Devil" and "Cat Food," and closes the show by singing "Hajimete no Oto"...with the entire audience of Makuhari Messe singing along :kaito_lili:.

I watched it just last weekend (and Mirai 2016 Blu-ray yesterday). (Btw, 2015 was Nippon Budoukan, Makuhari Messe first hosted Magical Mirai in 2016)

Oh, cool, didn't know that--I'd thought Makuhari had always hosted the concert in Tokyo!

Mirai 2016's a lot of fun, too--it's probably my favorite, though there are several of them that are just amazing. 2015 among them :) .
There are people from multiple major cities celebrating in the streets here in the US. The police are there, like they'd always be, but just looking at both sides, there's no hint of any desire for violence on either side. I've heard they're ringing bells in Paris, and really nice messages are coming in from other world leaders, too. This is the happiest thing I've seen on TV in years.

Thank you to everyone who voted, and thank you to everyone who has been patient with us during this gigantic nightmare.
I've heard (from anime, and somewhere else that I can't remember) that in Japan there's a practice where some people like to put mayonnaise on pizza. One of these days when no one's judging, I really want to give that a try, because it seems like it would be, if not awesome in a very-bad-for-you way, at least very interesting. I wonder if it works best with specific kinds of pizza (Like, does it have to be some kind of seafood pizza that would be more likely to be served there?), or would any kind of pizza work...?

Usually the fancy pizza I eat is pineapple pizaa (YES I love it as much as classic like margherita !!!) and when I read hat i was like "what ? õ_õ " but now with seafood and corn in mind it'd be logical

Hmm interesting. Now I wonder what japanese Mayo tastes like. Is it more sweet like here in Germany or more sour like in most other places.. hmm.. Pizza with mayo... my boyfriend would judge me so much lol

Mm, I'm definitely going to have to give this a try. It might take a little work in one way or another, but I'm really curious now. Between allergies and simple preference, I'm not much of a seafood person, but I have this hunch that mayo would taste good on a particular variety of frozen pizza....

@Mika: From what I've seen online, Japanese mayo is "tangier" than other mayo.

@MillyAqualine: I like pineapple pizza, too! I usually pair it with other out-of-the-norm toppings, like chicken, but pineapple is a perfectly respectable pizza topping IMO. Surprisingly, Margherita pizza isn't my favorite, though--though that could be because I get it frozen and it just doesn't come out well. While it's hot, it can be good, but especially once it gets cold and turns soggy...it loses a lot.... I suppose if I did it right and got it from a specialty pizza place, though, it might be a lot better. Having been able to get pizza from an Italian place (I think?) a few times, it's hard to beat a native place where pizza is its business. :) Though Italian pizza is supposedly a lot different (simpler) than what Americans do with it, so I imagine what I got was Americanized....
Just a PSA to be careful when online/checking email. I've gotten a bunch of spam phone calls and one suspicious email, and someone I know got a virus. So avoid going to shady places, and if you get a communication/popup from someone/something you don't know or that you didn't ask for, be suspicious.
I've been increasingly restless since yesterday. I've got other stuff I am/should be doing, but all I really want to do is music research or take my best shot in Studio One.
Hard to beat the excitement of a countdown before Miku comes on!

    Happy birthday, Miku!

Not sure why the preview is from a post talking about latency, but I made a post about my thoughts on today. If you're interested, I hope you'll have a look at it!
Question: AHS offers a "crossgrade" discount on Synth V where you apparently just put in the name of another company's synth software & get a discount. With that available...why would anyone pay full price? I'm just kind of curious--I guess they're gathering marketing data, but it seems like even someone without any other synths could fill something in. It's like they're throwing money away....

Whoa, do they really offer it for any other synth? Not just AHS synths? That’d be pretty sweet, ngl.
But if I had to guess why they’d do that… probably marketing and data collection I presume. Maybe if they figure out their customers are using a certain synth, they might begin trying to appeal to that audience? Just a thought.

I figured you'd need to provide a serial for said synth. It can't be as easy as just saying "Yeah I own Vocaloid" without anything to back that up.

IIRC They talked about it on DTM Station's Livestream where Ogata from AHS came as a guest. It was to spread the use (increasing the fanbase) of SynthV. That's why ther're also willing to give 50% discount for AHS user that already own (and register) one of their products. Also for anyone reading this, iirc it's only for limited time, not forever.
I got a shock recently when I opened my menu and saw I'd hit 1200 posts. It's been 1100+ for so long....
An idea I've been kicking around lately: I seem to be most creative in the morning. It depends on how I feel, but if I'm going to be creative, it works best from an hour or two after I wake up until...some undetermined point in the afternoon, maybe 3/4-ish? Past that, I'm usually mentally/emotionally tired enough that my mind is about as creative as a tofu brick.

Trouble is, EVERYTHING else happens in the morning. Work is in the morning. On the weekends, stuff that has to get done (because it couldn't be done during the week, because of work) is a top-priority thing, so it comes first.

    I need a strategy.... :luka_move: :miku_ani_lili:
I wish "Catch the Wave" was available more broadly than just as a Sonoca card exclusive to the Mega 39 OST collection.
