How do people just... draw in vibrato themselves... and actually make it work? Every time I do it, no matter how careful I am, it just sounds... pathetic.

Knocking on wood as I speak, but I havne't had any dizziness today. I got out and drove a bit, purused Walmart, then took a walk, and I think getting out did me a lot of good.
Now to figure out why the hell はるる@DTM類出品-san is taking his dear sweet time shipping out that $80 order while still listing new Vocaloids. Sir, madame, or whatever you identify as, it's been two weeks.
I ordered something through Buyee on December 27th and the seller still hasn't even shipped it to the warehouse. I tried contacting Buyee but they've never responded. What do I do?

...I've been fighting off bouts of extreme dizziness for the past two days, rendering me more useless than usual. I've been getting decent sleep and drinking plenty of water, so I don't know what the problem is. I've only got a week before I go back to school. I need to get SOMETHING done. A chapter, a cover, anything.
In an unexpected turn of events, my ex-step-grandparents, on top of their yearly New Years gifts of quilts and fuzzy pajama pants, also got me a $100 prepaid Visa.

There's a cover I've been working on on-and-off for over a year and I'm thoroughly convinced it's cursed.
I made it as a gift for a (former, extremely toxic) friend, who ended up hating it because Gakupo and Kiyoteru don't sound EXACTLY like Matsumoto Shinya and Taisuke Saeki. I scrapped it in defeat, but every two or three months I keep coming back to it because it's a beautiful song and I'd really like to finish it. But every time I come back to it, something goes wrong - Vocaloid crashes, my computer goes black, or, more recently, Piapro Studio fails to load into the designated file - and I lose every last bit of work I did on it.

Today's been a good day! Got a chapter up after over a month, then had dinner with my cousin, then watched Rise of Skywalker with her. (It was her first time seeing it, and we screamed about it the entire way back.) Now I'm in comfy pants trying to both find a good song to use Iroha for and talk myself out of buying Miku V2 for $40 (yes, I can technically afford it, but I'm still jobless and just spent $15 at the theater!). Now to get back to work.
Someone called Assassin Princess "Cendrillon with guns" and now I can't stop thinking about that.
FINALLY! A new chapter! Since it's X-rated I can't link it (so I'll refrain from mentioning it in my designated thread as well), but I'm really happy I finally got it done. I don't think it's half-bad, really, especially considering I typed the bulk of it with a single finger.
Every night for the past two weeks, before my sister goes to bed, she performs the sign of the cross over me using her cat, who's half her size and a fourth of her weight. It's my new favorite bedtime ritual.
On a happier note, after a break from Swagbucks, I made over 200SB in one night! I'm now sitting at around 5,000SB. I could get a $50 gift card, or I could try and save up a while longer... it would've been 10,000SB, but I got a $50 gift card back in August and spent it all on soap. So if I can get up to that again, I could easily get a VB! Maybe Sweet Ann or Sachiko, or I could even treat myself to Haiyi!

That moment when you find a great VSQ that'll really showcase a new voicebank you just got, but you don't wanna make a low-effort Plug 'N' Play so you try making some adjustments to make your version unique... and you realize suddenly why you've only amassed 40 subscribers in two years, three of which are admitted pity-subscriptions, one of which is your best friend who's obligated to cheer you on no matter how much your stuff sucks... and you realize a low-effort Plug 'N' Play is probably going to be better than anything you've spent hours crafting from scratch.
(It helps that my most popular upload by a large margin is also my only P'N'P. If that doesn't speak to my lack of skill, I don't know what does.)
Now that the cast is off and I'm working on slowly being able to bend my arm and thumb again, my new goal is to get a job ASAP. (My surgeries leaving me with only one operational hand and arm at a time is a major reason no one's hired me.) Then when I get my first paycheck, I'm gonna get Haiyi!

I'm finally looking into Deep Vocal and found a few vocals I'm interested in. Their terms of use state that covers of Last Night, Good Night will not be tolerated. Like... okay, fair enough, but why?
In about 24 hours, the cast comes off! I'm excited. The pain and itching wasn't as bad this time around, but I'm eager to finally have full range of motion again. Also, last time, my skin was so dry it came off like snow when I scratched, so I'm bringing a heavy moisturizer to the doctor's with me to get a head start on that.
