    Synthesizer V Discussion Thread

The parameter panel looks unrefined in the teaser. Hope it'll look better in the actual release. Also, if you were wondering, a cent is 1/100 of a 12-EDO half step.

Hatsune Miku kaoling feat. Hatsune Miku - Those Who Fall at the Name of God

Bleh, probably a relex at best. This is a good song, though.

    Synthesizer V Discussion Thread

I can hardly wait for an official announcement, or for that matter, more news about SynthV. Having only three voicebanks for languages I speak to any extent for such a long time is getting a bit dull.

Is the VOCALOID Statement True to the Person Below?

Yes. Maybe that was why I got into vocal synths so late (along with using Linux so couldn't use UTAU without using Wine). I eventually discovered SynthV when it was still in its technical preview. The person below me has VOCALOID 5 but no earlier versions.

I have none The person below me still uses V1 or V2

Is the VOCALOID Statement True to the Person Below?

Not quite hate, but I find Meiko's design to be meh. The person below me has written at least one original song featuring a Vocaloid (or other vocalsynth).

    The ideal engloid?

The ability to choose between l0 and l ([l] vs [ɫ] in IPA). This is a no-brainer for Vocaloid, but voicebanks for other programs (hint hint SynthV) don't give you that control. The ability to choose between aspirated and unaspirated consonants. Same note as above. Deterministic vowels. [r] and...

    kozet's rant emporium

17X2019 (30 fav ruj) Some sneak peeks of what I'm working on for Ŋarâþ Crîþ v7. (Yes, one of the examples is from my WIPpy song stuff.) Fun fact: the Ŋarâþ Crîþ word for 'dative' is šinteselneri, from šino 'all, everything', tesel 'purpose, use' and neri 'case', because the dative case is...

    Guess Below's Favourite VOCALOID

Is the VOCALOID Statement True to the Person Below?

I'm not familiar with Hachi's music, so unfortunately no. The person below dislikes most of the works under the [fictional language] tag in VocaDB.

    Resource Vocal Synth Voice Characteristics

A few more notes: ALL JAPANESE SYNTHVS Can't pronounce most final consonant clusters; to work around this, add an extra note for the second consonant and make its vowel voiceless GENBU "w" at the start of the phrase sounds like x[r\]; possibly exploitable for conlang shenanigans "s r" and...
