Well, then, that might be a factor into why TALQu was running slow or doesn’t work. cuz the latest version has the new Hi-fi gan Vocoder implemented into it (as well as setting it up for use at startup), and it really requires ALOT of memory to run it… So, it might be one of the factors into why...
Here is for Microsoft Visual C++:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
Here is for NET Framework 4.8:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework
If even the CPU version doesn’t work then I don’t really know what’s going on and...
Not really, but in some way they are both connected in some way or another…
Visual Studio is the coding software/editor used to build TALQu (from what I know).
Microsoft Visual C++ is one of the main coding languages (i.e. base code) used in Visual Studio and many other softwares…
To put it...
Also, speaking of the Microsoft C++ enviroment, it is confirmed (through it’s Booth page) that Microsoft C++ 2013 to 2019 has been confirmed tested and working… But as I said, I’m mostly just guessing and I’m not really a technical expert in the whole matter myself… As of writing this I was...
Have you installed atleast .NET Framework version 4.8 and over and also the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++? To be honest, TALQu’s working enviroment is somehow slightly messy and even I myself can get confused sometimes (the creator even admitted it in a reply email one time), but if...
UPDATE 2/14/2022: Haruqa announced a new version of TALQu has released and now the vocoder that was included in the current HaruqaCorpus became the default vocoder for TALQu! (Also model switching speeds have been increased and shortened!) Please update your TALQu for this new function!
Also, as of now, TALQu (especially the free version) doesn't support the normal English Tacotron2 models (as it can make the model sound incomprehensible/improper pronunciation)
Sadly you can't, as said in Haruqa's TALQu training colab TOS, you are not able to modify the Colab notebook's code, basefilelist (transcription text file) and it's codes... But there is another Colab training notebook (also made by Haruqa) that trains data using the ITA-Corpus (GitHub -...
Wait, when you were installing the CUDA 11.0 patch by running the bat file, does something like this appear in your CMD window?
If so... DON'T CLOSE IMMEDIATELY!! It's just a warning regarding the fact that the Python library wasn't placed into PATH (which is basically Windows way of saying that...
Notes (2/9/2022): So, if your TALQu was working fine until one day it just randomly decided to not load the GUI and come up with an error, first, close the opened TALQu if you still had it open (use Task Manager), then back up a copy of your "Models" folder, delete ALL of the contents in the...
One more thing to note just to be clear, when I say "extract the contents of the CUDA 11.0 patch", I mean as in adding the CUDA patch files and replacing the files in the TALQu folder:
@poser you can take a look in the picture above for reference of the type of path leading up to the TALQu folder having no spaces in the folders' names
I think you should move the TALQu folder somewhere else as some Japanese programs (like OREMO and TALQu) have weird problems with folders with spaces in it's name... I actually placed my TALQu folder in the main Desktop fyi. Make sure any folders in the path leading up to the TALQu folder...
It means that TALQu wasn't installed properly... If you wanted to install the GPU version (Must be NVidia GPU) and this error popped up, then you must install the CUDA patch as said in one of my recent replies:
"UPDATE ON INSTALLING THE CUDA 11.0 PATCH: So, I just realized that the way to...
Notes to be taken: the TALQu training Colab notebook provided here can only work with voice data recorded using the HaruqaCorpus' script, and cannot be used with other types of data/samples/sources!
