Notes with EVEC applied exporting wrong

I just finished a cover, and I went to use Resonance Scope to make a visual of the notes for an MV. However, when I loaded the exported VSQx file, all the notes that had an EVEC expression applied had their lyrics changed. Instead of the lyrics being the hiragana of the sung note, they were instead something like "EVEC(BMKKD8S6MLXP2MCC)", with the characters after the EVEC changing based on the applied EVEC color. I've tested it by importing it into SynthV, and the same thing applies. I've tried exporting it as a Vocaloid 3 file instead, but that doesn't change anything.

Looking closer at the file imported into SynthV reveals that it's actually two notes, one with the hiragana, usually very short, and one with the mess of characters. Do any of you know why this is happening or how to fix it? I really would not like to have to manually remove all of the EVEC symbols, but it looks like the only option.

it's "technically" not exporting wrong. that's actually how it works under the hood. Evec notes are not part of the vocaloid engine, it's just some kind of extension Crypton came up with for their V4x voicebanks which is litterally this, a group of two notes, one being the normal note for the consonant., and the second being the EVEC version of the rest of the vowel. Piapro Studio might hide it but it would display the same on Vocaloid Editor which doesn't have EVEC integration.

Unless the converter you use (i'm guessing Utaformatix) has an option to get rid of evec notes, i don't think much else can be done

I actually just imported the VSQx directly into SynthV2, but I'll check if Utaformatix can remove EVEC.
