I was lucky back in late April and happened to catch Xingchen briefly going back on sale. However, the version I purchased was listed as "星尘V4声库尊藏版" ('Xingchen V4 Sound Library Collector's/Premium Edition'). Upon inspection of my copy (which only arrived this week) the barcode on the back cover appears to be missing, with text reading "Sample" in its original place. On the sticker that lists the serial number inside the case, the version of the software is written: Xing Chen Serial Code (Sample)
I'm wondering if anyone has further information about this "Sample" version of Xingchen. Is this leftover promotional stock? Would there be any differences from the standard Xingchen release?
