Thanks man! :DUTAU are free and you can find them all over the place! You can typically find YouTube videos that are tagged with UTAU VB Release or something similar to lead to a download for the voicebank. You could look for a specific voicebank like Teto or Momo on Google and there is typically a link that leads you to either their specific website or their download on an UTAU hub. (Apologies for vaugeness I don't follow UTAU as much) For those you would need to install UTAU or OpenUTAU to use them.
For VOCALOID you can buy them in several spaces. You can buy them on the VOCALOID website, and they have sales that include a starter pack that includes the editor for the banks. Some also come with a lite version of the editor where you can use it up to a certain few measures if I remember correctly. You can also find specific companies like Crypton or AH-S on their own websites. (You have to buy Miku on SONICWIRE unless you buy through the VOCALOID site in Japanese)
Synced SynthV is also popular I'll mention it; You can buy the Pro version of the SV2 editor on the Dreamtonics store site, and you can also use a 30 day trial for the software and also every voice.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask!
Thanks for the info! Is Uta/Defoko included with OpenUtau or no? I've heard the Uta is the first Utau and she's the default but idk if that's true for OpenUtauIf you're just getting into Vocaloid/UTAU, I strongly recommend the advice of the commenter above! Specifically downloading OpenUTAU and one of the Kasane Teto voicebanks: either the one linked under "OpenUTAU用日本語統合ライブラリー" or the first one listed under the "Standard voice" tab (通常音源 単独音を DOWNLOAD).
OpenUTAU is a lot more user-friendly than the standard UTAU software, the work station is similar to Vocaloid and SynthV, so it's a good way to get familiar with these types of programs before committing to buying a voicebank.
I'd also recommend checking out some of the UTAU wikis, since they usually have an official source linked to download voicebanks of various characters.
Defoko doesn't come with OpenUtau, but it's just a matter of downloading the original UTAU software and making a .zip archive of her voice from the \voice\uta folder if you want her. Thanks for the info!
