typically you would use the letters! if you were in a choir, you might use the solfege (do re mi etc.), but i don't have much choir experience so i can't say for sure, ahaha

Lol, I was just curious since we read notes as 'Do Re Mi' in band, but I heard that some people use 'C D E' instead.
