sadly, there’s no sure-fire way to boost engagement/views easily. The unfortunate truth about this fandom is that there’s always someone else to fill your place, which means a hiatus for a smaller channel can be quite detrimental (and unfair, but the internet doesn’t consider that stuff). If you’re not consistent, or you don’t have anything that sets you apart from the sea of users—such as tuning and mixing—then it’ll be pretty hard and very luck-based.
While I’m not too sure how the UTAU side of stuff works, maybe using a popular UTAU or voicebank for a few covers will help? Bandwagons come around often too which could get people interested! Don’t be afraid to promote yourself wherever possible too. Just keep at it, even just having few dedicated fans who appreciate your work can feel better than a big viewcount.
