This is a Work In Progress Tutorial, I will be adding more resources to this, as well as anything else that I learn, most of the stuff that I will be talking about comes from my own experience.
Hello! I'm Jisenku/Bluedm, and I'm a pretty amateur artist in my opinion, but I do have experience with publishing and distribution, so I would like to give you some tips on how to make your release as smooth as possible.
1) If you haven't checked already, make sure you have the absolute highest quality file you can get from your engine, even if it would take a while to get. The best audio file for distribution are lossless (uncompressed) .wav/.wave files, as almost all engines support it, and it's supported by most (if not all) distributors.
2) Find the perfect distributor for you, to get started, try a service that offers you to distribute for free, and takes a portion of your profits as payment (make sure that the split is fair though.) However, eventually, you might want to switch over to something like DistroKid if you are starting to make more money and think that an annual fee would be cheaper.
