I'll be honest. I'm a musical person. I live off of music (figuratively), but musicals are grating to me. It doesn't move the plot along and it feels like its to pad out the run time, really
I think Dreamtonics is a taiwanese company, someone feel free to correct me on that
her art/box is pretty, i won’t deny that, but personally, i find the ribbon tie stuff out-of-place for her design (and like others have added, a bit creepy)
HUUUGE space fanatic. In fact, i think she’d live in an observation tower! (Her general space-y kind of theme just makes me think about space)
Rana? :rana_lili:
I think some of us knew this was gonna come soon. I was actually wondering the other week if Dreamtonics would ever dip their toes into the talk synth side!
Yep! Their serials still work for V4/V5! I don’t think they’ve actually stopped supporting vocaloid, they’ve just stopped making their banks for it. I’m not too sure about the crypton registration, though. Somebody else will have to answer about that
I know most people like to joke about how weird Ryuuto's voice is, but I actually think he and Nemu's voices are quite unique among the rest of the vocaloids! Sure, their voices may be nasally, but at least they aren't another high pitched high school aged girl (we really do have too many)
This is the same software that has people constantly asking on google "is vocaloid an anime?"
Sadly, vocal synth culture seems to be difficult to navigate for outsiders dkvshgs (i know i had a lot to learn when i first discovered vocaloid)
*revives dead thread*
I've found that SONiKA and Oliver sound amazing together! Maybe its the british accents, but nonetheless, they duet well on my end!
edit: i'm just gonna clarify that i've edited the singer editor a lot, so my settings are different than other users'
I guess the good thing is, if it turns out you can’t change IA’s GEN parameter, there’s always her V3 voicebanks
also, Hippi’s English singing, is it using her normal japanese bank or are they making a separate english bank for her?
I do have to wonder…if they were trying to make an 18+ synth, why choose CeVIO? CeVIO doesn’t seem like the most 18+ synth (there’s already a child vocal on there)
