It's been a while since I talked about it, I started to work on it recently, this is the repository SeleDreams/lmms at utau_integration (github.com)
atm i've setup the skeleton for me to start working on the code
Hi, it's been bugging me for a while now, I still can't figure out what presets I should use to actually get the two aoi and akane characters, any ideas ?
because i have the vb but in synthv they didn't split them so it's kind of hard to figure out the presets to get them both
I finally finished it after all this work.
it was fun to make Mayu sing french, I always felt like her voice would sound good in french, even more with some tuning using VOCALOID 5 singing styles
I think i'll maybe make a tutorial if people want one on making japanese and english voicebanks sing...
Last real update before the final version I changed the second part after 3:10 where it gets more motivating, I'll mostly update the drums and the mixing and release the final version
First I'd go with the idea that "Before doing any equalization, EQ or anything, just play wiht the phonemes until she sounds understandable raw" that's one of the core concepts I try to always apply because I feel like this is important for it to actually sound good without relying too much on...
boosting so much low end on vocals isn't what i'd recommend because it might make it difficult to sit in the mix, vocals tend to be more on the middle of a mix, and on the highs too, having it with boosted low ends could work on some minimalist styles but some more bass heavy styles might become...
Rin english mostly requires compression to sound good because her phonemes tend to have big dynamics changes that make it hard to properly level her voice compared to the instrumental
Take in account though that how it got so fast isn't just because of it and multiple laboratories worked on different ones at once it's just the fastest one that won the race so all this budget was split into tons of independent researches, not to the same laboratory
also they skipped some...
It's really not tested enough for me to trust it, from what I've seen in france the majority of the population are skeptical of the vaccine (Covid anti-vax sentiment rises above 50% in France)
the weirdest thing is, vocaloid 5 ALREADY has a trial, it starts when we don't activate it, we can see that it goes in trial mode, they just weirdly basically gave the trial mode to people who purchase it only which makes no sense
the wobble-y effect is something common when relying too much on vocaloid 5's singing skills, I'd recommend to reduce a bit the strength of the singing skill amount and skill values
I recommend for both to keep the values under 5
Also licence wise, except vocaloid and synthv pro, engines like cevio don't allow commercial use without approval so it's less attractive to people who want to make music for games or want to sell their music in albums and stuff
For Vocaloid 5, Yamaha has probably two choices left, go back to...
