I'm back !!!!
I literally came back just to post this original (which I don't think has been done yet???)
"World of Light" by Ho • P feat. Clara and Luka
I'm personally really excited, something like this to give the fandom semi-frequently is exactly what the English Vocaloid fandom needed. We have a habit of feeling very disconnected from Zero-G and Power FX, this should help bridge that gap for one of them.
Does anyone know how to change or delete parameters from Vocaloid 4 in the V5 editor? I've been trying to use V5 parameters to build off of what I did in V4 but instead of helping they just crash together miserably.
I don't think anyone's done this yet, and I find it amazing both that it exists and that it's an original.
Here's an original called "Set Me Free" by MineK1025 using Meiko and Gachapoid
@Kona I'm excited too! I obviously have my SONiKA bias, and I'm really happy they didn't entirely shoot me down. Whatever they're gonna do, I'm really excited to see them make V5 work.
And they'll probably still have that connection given a probable financial bond between the two. Either way...
@Exemplar It does seem that way. To strengthen that possibility, CeVIO did recently post about their new English format to their Editor. It's kinda fun to see them each try to 1-up each other
I'm just really excited about what Zero-G had to say. I know it's not Miriam V5 or a V2 update, but...
So I have a couple of responses from companies, just to give a perspective on things.
I asked Yamaha if the new editor would be receiving a physical addition, and the grammar is a little weird and it looks like their trying to leave room open to decide to do it later, but that might just be the...
Bonus points: I also emailed Internet Co. and asked them if they have plans for V5 updating any of their V5 Vocaloids (I asked about Lily and Kokone specifically, but they're answer for those two should give a good idea about the rest)
I sent in an inquiry to Yamaha about whether or not the Vocaloid 5 engine will be given a physical release, whether it be with the standard/premium voicebanks or as a standalone. It's a little late in the day, so I probably won't get a response until tomorrow, but I'll tell you guys what I get...
Another major thing in the Vocaloid walkthrough video
You can put breaths into the editor, in addition to a whole bunch of super cool stuff to the vocals themselves
This might be the best thing ever
Also, does anyone know if the new V5 perameters and tools work on V3 and V4 vocals used in the...
Does anyone know the details of potential physical versions for Vocaloid 5 and/or Sora?
I might just buy a new V5 Editor and hold onto V4. V5 doesn’t support V2 voicebanks and I still wanna use SONiKA.
I know this is waaaaaaay out there, but it's a thought that came to me an hour or two ago. It seems to me that AHS is sorta taking some of the work away from Yamaha. Nothing major yet, but they took Nana for her V4 update, and now they're doing a V5 teaser and launch VB. I'm really excited to...
Sorry if someone's asked about this; I hunted around a little bit and couldn't find anything, so I'm just gonna suppose no one has.
How does the reaction system work on here all the way from the basics? I can't find where to leave one if that gives context to the kind of questions I need explained.
I still tend to doubt they'll be very specific with their response, they do like to keep us guessing. I appreciate your effort regardless of what we get out of it!
My hope for their safe return isn't over yet, they're still being vague. "Those products" sounds more like those individual voicebanks and not the entire voice and any future updates. I have to say, they're pretty good at keeping us wondering.
