  • What happened to the feature that let you set how much of the note you wanted to have vibrato? Is that still in Vocaloid 5?
Does anyone know any good Rion songs, originals or covers? Preferably something on the slower side that uses her lower range, but anything works.
Does anyone know Mandarin/know someone who speaks mandarin who can tell me if my Moke has shipped or not?
I know it's a stretch, but the only thing I could think of that would cause Moke and Qingxian to get delayed so much is them going back to make them V5/give them V5 effect compatibility
I finally listened to a couple of Rana songs (never listened to more than one at a time) to finally internalize what her voice sounds like
I do not hear how people compare her and Unity-chan what are you people talking about
I've talked to a lot of people lately who own Vocaloids that they either don't like or hate and I'm like
Then why did you buy them in the first place???
Does anyone know if buying the upgrade price on V5 will cause it to replace the V4 Editor? I wanna hold onto it for SONiKA

I saw other users saying you keep the V4 editor, but I can't find an official source for it at the moment.

@Paradoxical Someone who bought the upgrade told me that they kept V4, we're all safe
I feel like it would be smart of Yamaha to just stick with the V5 editor and update it. The editor is very complete with a few bugs that just need minor updates, and updating to V6 would mean the loss of V3 vocals, a very significant loss.
I know they're not going to, but if V5 is coming and it's a complete engine overhaul, I would hope they would still sell the V4 Editor so that older voicebanks can still be used.

Why would they get rid of "backwards compatibility"? You can use V3 Vocaloids in V4. I assume it would be V3, V4, and V5 for the new engine. If it's based on Piapro Standalone, it was some cosmetic changes and making tuning functions easier (like dragging the tuning you drew). I hope V5 changes their Windows 98-lookin' layout. S:

@uncreepy A lot of people seem to think that if V5's gonna update to the extent producers want it, the engine will have to be so new that backwards compatibility doesn't make logical sense. I don't know how much salt to put in that, but it's a thought
I know Tianyi and Yan He are on MUSYNX too, but Stardust is on the cover, so I'm gonna give her the "First Vocaloid on the Switch" title
I've come to the very late realization that a significant majority of the Japanese Vocaloids I have are super hard to use, so I'm gonna limit myself for now to Mew, Nana, and Galaco.
I've been listening to Uni sing in Japanese and she handles it pretty well. Does Korean just have Japanese syllables in it too or is the cover playing with my mind?
I can't say I'm really bummed since Moke's finally coming to us, but I was hoping that Moke and Qingxian would come together given that they're such a pair at this point. I hope releasing them separately doesn't ruin that connection.

They're probably gonna be together a lot for promotion art/concerts, so I would try not to worry about it. Maybe it's better to stagger the releases for people who don't have enough money to buy 2 Vocaloids at once, as well? *trying to look on the bright side*

@uncreepy Ya I understand why they did it, it makes sense. They're just an inseparable duo at this point
Reading through the Like, love, hate thread made me so happy
You guys really do love our cat-loving monochrome queen
Even Unity-chan was on more people's like/love than expected what a surprise
