I think it's less related to banks "announced" before SV2's release but likely the banks that started development before.

tbf with no manual mode there was also no way to control vibrato rate, amplitude etc. only the fade in and fade out. On voicebanks like the std banks, it meant they were stuck with default vibrato unless we hand drew the vibrato which was very inconvenient

Macne Nana English to me was terrible. not just from an accent perspective, her vb in general just feels terribly configured. I used V4 for reference

Ohhh I accidentally read the thread as "less robotic" but in a way my advice still applies, as well as the pitch snap mode suggested by @IO+ , editing the pitch bend to get some sudden pitch spikes can help the robotic feel. playing with harmonies and effects too

with tuning. by adjusting the pitch bend to sound more natural. Also by adjusting the various parameters available too such as breathiness, dynamics etc

I just realised, they removed singer presets from SynthV 2. So it means we can't save singer presets anymore, if we want to reproduce a tone, we have to set all the values manually every single time

I got the idea to experiment with the french dictionary on SV 2 with Kasane Teto. I feel like the result is not too bad. The song is "Croire" a song I composed a while ago (originally sung by Hitsune Kumi).

By the way, in SynthV 2 they changed the location of the folder containing voicebanks, dictionaries etc. So to install custom dictionaries for instance, it would be at the location "%appdata%\Dreamtonics\Synthesizer V Studio 2" (copy paste this as the windows file explorer URL)

lol for AiKO's Plus update, they accidentally swapped her small icon and her full body art. so it uses the full body art as her icon and her small icon as the piano roll background

The STD voices GENBU, AiKO, Kotonoha Aoi & Akane, SAKI, and Yamine Renri all got updated to PLUS versions and can now be installed in SV2. The PLUS versions seem to convert them to Synthesizer V 1 AI banks which means they can sing all languages supported by SV1 and they can use rap mode.
