New Vocaloid creepypasta:
'I opened the Vocaloid software and was met with a notification to update the editor. The version number was 6.6.6. I was unfazed at first by this number, as I assumed demons weren't real, so I updated. What a fool I was. I started to regret it as this new update made...
Probably not because even SynthV lasted until version 1.11
Wait as I sent that I realized it's somehow almost been 3 full years since Vocaloid 6 came out 🫠
Update 5/10/25 @ 8:17 pm: I finally added SynthV 2, although I didn't check the links. Mostly the point of this update was to take note of AiKO selling out and for potential Anicute buyers to be cautious in case Eleanor sells out soon too.
I love western vocal synth music, but one of my pet peeves with it is the overuse imo of cliches and common phrases/idioms/whichamacallits in the lyrics, like
"Misery loves company" (examples: Misery Loves Company, Burn So Bright)
"Above and beyond" (examples: Above and Beyond, Stir Crazy)
"You...
I wish there were demos because I'm so tempted to upgrade (I haven't even upgraded the editor) but I don't even know what he sounds like hhhhhhgh
But at least in the meantime I'm drooling over his new design 😍
It's hard to say because most English vocals with character designs are just, the VP's voice as a vocal synth (Ruby, Dex, Daina, Anri, Jun, etc.)
Maybe Eleanor Forte standard counts since they say her samples were pitched up?
I use 150 bpm and vary the note lengths based on what words I'm emphasizing. I think a faster pace better gives the illusion of talking than singing (although, in the state I live in we talk very fast and that might contribute to how I tune Talkloids). I also generally have the pitch go down in...
So looking back on my
Now for my predictions for 2025:
-French and Korean on SynthV are for SynthV 2.
-Vocaloid6 will add Korean cross-lingual around the same time.
-SynthV 2 sounding more realistic than SynthV will spark debate among AI fans (how realistic is too realistic?)
-Some AHS vocals...
True, but the idea is that if they implement a choir feature, do you think it would function like the Zola unison plugin since it allows you to tune all 3 vocals at once so they sing the same in unison?
Actually now that I think about, harmonizing is also a huge part of choir, so it implementing...
This so much! One thing I disliked about the old SynthV is that some updates majorly changed things. SynthV Studio 1 in 2024 is radically different from SynthV Studio 1 in 2021, but now that they're making SynthV 2, SynthV 1 will be the same in 2027 as it is in 2025.
I hope that they won't brick R2 versions if you get R3 voicebanks. I remember people on this forum saying if you activated R2 Medium5 voicebanks, they would brick the R1 versions.
Also some predictions I propose for features: I agree with Sele that French and Korean are probably for SynthV 2...
