Hello, I'm new here - What do I do?

Hello, I go by Zachary, and I'm hoping to fit in to the Vocal-Synth Community.
I really like what everyone here does, and I'm hoping to maybe even make music, even potentially song-writing in Japanese. (That's a ways away though)
The problem is, I am very basic; I'm a 17-year old American white boy.
I am absolutely willing to learn everything I have to though; I don't wanna put anybody off by doing the wrong thing.
The question still stands, though; How do I fit in to a community full of exceptionally different people from everywhere when I myself am demographically exceptionally normal?

Be yourself! While many of us are from all over the place and from all sorts of unique places with different experiences, that absolutely doesn't affect pretty much anything regarding vocal synths! I too am a boring white American male, and I've found a pretty nice place here. Honestly, I genuinely do not know/care much about a person's race/gender/ethnicity/sexuality/whatever when interacting with people on here. Just treat them as you would any other generic person, and they'll (mostly) treat you the same way back.

My only advice is to be careful to be inclusive when specifically talking about racially inclined subjects, but other than that just be yourself. After all, we're all here for the same basic reason, and that is to talk about our silly little singing robots and make fun music. That's why I joined, anyways, and I'd assume it's the same for most other people. Welcome to VVN, by the way! It's nice to meet you!

Welcome. I agree with the sentiments lf Bookworm2; you appear to be fretting to much, so it seems to me. Observing basic civility should easily overcome any differences, even more so when coupled with enthusiasm, and a constructive attitude.
