Hi yall, this is more of a tech question for vocaloid, but this issue has been frustrating to me for the past couple of weeks and Im wondering if someone more experienced in this sorta thing could help.

Whenever I try to open Piapro Studio AU (plugin) in my FL Studio, (On a Mac M2 Air) and the plugin opens with no issue however I can't use or see the editor page (the one where you can choose what Miku says + tuning and etc), its normally like a pop up that shows up but around 3 weeks ago it suddenly stop working and nothing iv'e tried to do has fixed the issue. If there is a solution or fix please let me know, I really enjoy using Hatsune Miku to create my own original songs since I am a new producer.Screenshot 2025-06-24 at 11.37.58 AM.jpg

I dont have a Mac, but usually those issues are because of Rosetta compatibility layer for the arm based chips of newer Macs. Since you had it working until 3 weeks ago, probably there was an update of the plugin or FLStudio that "broke" something.. maybe wait a little for a new version patch, or try to remove the plugin and install it again? :meiko_lili:

Did you double check your DAW is running in Rosetta mode? That's the most common cause of things like that on MacOS. FL Studio has instructions here: FL Studio macOS / Mac - Apple Silicon ARM Processors - M1, M2 & M3 Support & VST Plugins. (Even if you were before, an update or something could have changed it.)

Neither Piapro Studio nor Vocaloid 6 support the M-series processors natively yet, unfortunately, so this is necessary.

I occasionally see issues where I update my DAW (Presonus Studio One) and it turns it back to non-Rosetta mode.

Major MacOS updates can also break Piapro Studio until Crypton updates it, which can take months. (So definitely don't install the one coming in September, until Crypton verifies compatibility in half a year, more or less.)

OH MY GOSH, THIS WAS THE SOLUTION I NEEDED- beforehand I never used Rosetta mode but finally doing it allowed me to use Miku V4X and her editor again including accessing all my old song files that crashed when I opened them! I have been trying to find a solution for weeks now online with basically 0 clear instructions, thank you so much for your help, these forums are AMAZING! Especially since the English Vocaloid community is hard to locate

AND ALSO, thank you for the extra info, it helps me better understand why Piapro Studio has issues with M Series Chips, I did not know that before.

My issue was solved with another user suggestions (of using rosetta mode), but thank you for your reply! Its wonderful to receive help from all community members here and it makes me feel very welcome :miku_lili:
