until this Fanclub gets more lively (which is definitely gonna take a long time, lol) I’m gonna share fun facts about Jamie’s music every few days! I’ll try to keep it from becoming an entire essay and invite open ended discussion in hopes someone sees this

today I’m gonna talk about spoken for in specific!!! I’d talk about a Jamie original* but im typing this on my school computer so I have limited access to resources. Flavor foleys website is unblocked so im relying on that for now.


Assuming you haven’t read this songs flavor foley file I’m gonna recap what was said about it real quick:
Jamie originally conceptualized this song when she was talking to a friend about ideas for an album with human voices and vocal synths singing together (Best genre of music ever btw I love when humans and synths sing together) and her friend suggested a concept of a VTuber‘s digital sona gaining consciousness and talking to them. Jamie dropped the concept but wrote the chorus for spoken for and showed it to the foleylings, and now we have the cassain tito nonbinary song!!!!

jamie so kindly told us it Wasn’t the baldis basics sfx, but I still hear it as that sorry jamie. that combined with the rhythm heaven Artstyle and the fact it’s a Teto song really reminds me of my childhood when I would listen to vocal synth songs about death and blood and murder loudly in the living room and my family was scared I’d grow up to become a serial killer. Unfortunately for them, I became worse; I became someone who prefers English vocal synth songs over other languages That was off topic my point is this song feels very nostalgic… i so would’ve made my oc a wolf human hybrid runaway test experiment who became a pop star and lost all sense of identity if this existed in 2017. Actually imagine the glmvs if flavor foley existed in 2017?! fire…

i also think choosing Teto was such a good idea!!! She wanted to be a Vocaloid and started off as a silly little fake Vocaloid utauloid but then became a synthv and skyrocketed to miss vocal synth. Shes almost as recognizable as Miku (atleast in the west, where I am) but she’s not as defined as Miku. She’s a chimera, genderless, with no corporate identity, she’s whatever you want her to be. Most Teto fans don’t know her canon personality and catchphrase. Her identity is just totally disregarded! Fun!!!!

I was surprised to find out this song was Jamie… I guess it makes sense because cassain Tito, and maybe I just listened to street cat’s instrumental and thought “holy jamiep core” but the lyrics don’t feel like Jamie’s normal lyrics. Clover, the other song she directed in this album, and Queen of Venus and weathergirl, DEFINITELY sound like jamie Paige songs . But idk maybe that’s just me!

what do u guys like abt this song? Is there anything i pointed out that you never thought about? What’s your interpretation of this songs meaning, given how open to the imagination it can be??
